Sahil was determined to take each and every step with great enthusiasm. Born as a premature child, he was dealing with the issue of learning disability that urged him to push harder than the rest for everything he wanted to pursue. He started his schooling in GD Somani after which he moved on the Nalanda school until standard 10th, where he could grasp things better due to a smaller class size. He was motivated to work hard and fill in the gaps even if it meant repeating the 5th standard. He stepped in to KC College after this 10th standard and believes that it opened doors for many opportunities that have shaped him into a better person today. His college introduced him to the world of Rotaract that changed him as a person. He joined the Rotaract Club of KC College as a very reserved but visionary young boy. The Rotaract club exposed him to numerous opportunities that allowed him to engage in activities that helped him grow.  He owes greatly to the Rotaract movement as it has been able to bring the best out of him. He mentions his keen interest in sports that he couldn’t exhibit in school due to physical challenges but he has been able to fulfill this interest too through the activities organized by the Rotaract Club. The club changed his reserved side to someone who was confident enough to voice his opinions and ideas. He remembers stepping into college and feeling under confident about interacting with peers, but constant indulgence with the members for club events or activities; he was able to overcome that too. The concept of service before self is also very important for Sahil and it is Rotaract again that made him realize how important it is to give back to the community.  He enjoys spending time with his friends and family who have been a constant support system throughout his various phases in life. He wished to selflessly serve the Rotaract club for as long as he can in order to learn as much as he can and also with the intent of serving his society.
