chapter 6

Jack's POV

I woke up this morning with my head in the clouds. I couldnt think of a better way to stay happy for today it was someones special day even though he doesnt celebrate it himself.
It was still pretty early so I sent everyone a message except Gabe cause today was his birthday and a wanted it to be a suprise for him.

Ana- okay Il be there
Torbijoin- see your their commander
Reinhardt- of course il be there for friends and drinking😊😊
Mccree- anything for my commander even though he kinda dislikes me
Winston- sure I have time
Angela- anything for a friend
Tracer- of course il be there love!
Genji- I guess I have nothing better to do..

Well that everyone Jack said as he got a list of stuff he needed for the surprise party later at the base.

But first I need Gabe to be away from the base in order to do this right...
However Jack though about it for second Gabe doesnt stray far from the base unless he was on a mission.
Maybe I need to go talk to Winston to assign Gabe a "special mission" Jack said as he smiles with a wide grin on his face.

Gabe's POV

I was about to walk into the cafeteria for some coffee and breakfast until Winston called me over.

What is it Winston? I ask as he walks over to me. I have a mission for you he says looking at his tablet scrolling through it to find my name.

Well what is it? I ask, he tells me that we have a one of the leaders of a deadly gang that we have been after and we need a few things for the interrigation to get him to tell us about where their gang makes their deadly weapons. I dont complain about the mission but when he gives me the list of items needed for the interrigation I kinda wanted to question why we needed them.

Interrigation list

Jack Daniels- 5 bottles
Shot glasses
Rope
Large chocolate cake

I scratch the back of my head as I enter a small market and purchase the items and walked out still wondering why they needed these items for but I dissmissed it and drive back to the base. Though chocolate cake is my favorite flavor shame its gonna go to waste....

Jack's POV

I returned to the base before Gabe did so using everyone's help we set up the living room space in the base to set up the suprise party for Gabe. As I put on the final touches I heard Gabe pull up to the hangar door and saw him come out. I messaged him quickly to meet me In the in the living room with all of the stuff he got on the list.

Jack heard Gabe slowly open up the door and quickly ran to him and told him to come in but as soon as Gabe opened up the door everyone yelled
SUPRISE!!!!! which startled Gabe into almost dropping the bags full of stuff from the market.

Happy birthday Jack said to Gabe which made Gabe blush a little. Everyone enjoyed the party espcially Gabe since their was alcahol that for so called "interrigation" after his 12 shot he was drunk beyond drunk, encluding everyone else except Jack because he didnt want the base being trashed when he and the others woke up in the morning from hangovers.

However after everyone went to bed or passed out in the living room only Gabe, Jack, and Ana were still awake but they were all exusted from partying all day and it was already 2:00 am.

Im going to bed said a sleepy but drunk Ana see you in the morning.

Jack and Gabe were finally alone but Jack lead Gabe to his room because it looks like he was gonna pass out.

So Gabe how old are you anyways? Jack said to him.
Gabe blushed a deep shade of red but replied 28.
It hit Jack that he and Gabe were the same age. Jack laughs but Gabe looks at him with a confused look.

What so funny boyscout? Gabe said with a drunk voice.
We are both the same age thats why im laughing at Jack said as he opened up Gabe's door to his room. Jack set down a drunk Gabe putting him to bed but Gabe asked If Jack could stay with him tonight. Jack couldnt resist so he took of his pants, shirt, boots, and Jacket leaving him in his boxers(this also goes for Gabe because im lazy #lazyauthor). Jack then got under the covers with Gabe and said good night to Gabe expecting a reply from Gabe but turned around to see him already asleep.

Sweet Dreams my love and with that Jack fell asleep.
