It was the clear sky the first time you met. It was the color of her hair when you asked her on a date. It was her dress when you said I Love You. It was the jewel on the ring when you proposed. It was the color of the sea on you honeymoon. It was the color of her nails when she said she was expecting. It was the color of her tears when there was a miscarriage. It was the color of her shoes as you walked to the orphanage. It was the color of the man's sweatshirt as he pulled a gun on you. It was the color of her eyes as the light you loved so much left. It was the color of your sadness as you cried out and screamed. It was the color of you tie as you buried her in the ground. It's the color you now despise because it's the color that left you alone.
