After everyone leaves

" where they hell were you!" Shane yells. I roll my eyes and flip down on my bed. " I went out" I simply say. " yea no shit Sherlock" Ryland says. " fine if you want to know so bad I met some friends at the mall and we were bored and I felt not wanted and sad cause everyone was having fun so I snuck out happy?" I say and run to the bathroom and lock the door. " we're sorry Stella we were just worried we didn't know where you were" Ryland muffled throw the door. I just sit in the tub thinking. Am I a problem I think and pass out

Morning

I wake up still in the bathtub and hear snoring outside. I guess they really do care I think smiling suddenly I get a text.
M= marissa st= Stella
M= wassup girllll
St= oh nothing much hiding from my parents
M=what
St= shit went down last night when I got home
M= sorry if we got you in trouble
St=it's no problem they just worry to much
M=any way we are having a sleepover at my house tonight wanna come
St=sure let me see if I can ttyl

I went out of the bathroom and saw Shane and Ryland asleep on the floor. I smile knowing they will never let me go to a sleepover after last night so I wrote a note to them
Dear Shane and Ryland,
So I won't be home tonight I'm going to have a sleepover with my new best friends they are really good people and great role models I'm sorry about last night I usually run away when I feel sad the orphanage really never cared but I see you care I will be back tomorrow don't worry I will be fine here is my friends moms phone number (Marissa's phone number)
Sorry but I'm a bad girl you will just have to accept it

I quickly put the note on the window and pack a bag. I walked down stairs grab a snack and listen for Shane and Ryland
30mins later
"What!" I hear Shane and Ryland yell and take that as my cue to hide I want to see how this plays out. I roll under the couch and lay there. " I swear she is dead when she gets home " Shane says walking down stairs "Shane be reasonable she will be punished but she is a kid" " I know Ryland but I wanted to put her in a video today and talk to her about school. I gasp but thankfully they didn't hear it. " I know let's crash the sleepover and get her" Ryland says. They move towards the couch I roll behind it and then realize I left my phone under there "fuck" I whisper. "Lets track her phone" "what she is right here" "my tracker must be messed up" "I know what we can do to punish her" Shane says "what?" Ryland asks with curiosity in his voice. "We will send her to public school instead of online school" "yes perfect" just then uno runs in with a dead bird "eww" they both yell and chase after uno to the back yard. I take advantage of this and run out the front door. Marissa texts me her address and I walk there. I walk up to a cute one story house. I look at the window in the front and marissa is motioning to me from there. "Hey" she says casually and pulls me into her room. Savannah is there sitting on a been bag chair watching YouTube. She looks up and nods to me. " where's Daniel" I asked " oh he will be here after my parents leave for their vacation they said I can have some friends over but not boys but I'm a rule breaker" she says them winks. I laugh and plop Down on one of the bean bag chairs.
1hour later
" ok I left you money for pizza and groceries on the counter, my work number is on the fridge we will be gone for the weekend bye I love you" Marissa's mom says while walking out the door.  We set up our stuff in the living room because the wifi is best in there and there is a huge flat screen tv. Marissa calls Daniel ad Dallas over and savannah calls Nandi. I get some popcorn out of the microwave and sit down. Five minutes later we hear the door ring and the boys walk in. Daniel sits next to me on the floor and dallas and Nandi sit next to the girls on the couch. "Now everyone lets get the night started shall we?" Marissa asks with a mischievous smile " babe are you ok?" Dallas asks concerned. Marissa just laughs. " don't worry it's just her demons" savannah says like this happens all the time. We all just laugh and get the sleepover started.
