Chapter 1: The New Beginnings
Just on the train to work and its only 7.50am, I don't start till 9am and take out my phone to ring Elena, my best friend who I've known since nursery, we have been inseparable ever since, and have been there for each other no matter what, and Elena knows mostly everything I have been through, I know I can count on her. So I dial her number, and she answers "Hey Elena yeah its early, but the inevitable happened. Mum Was asking me why I don't give Ryan respect. Which made me so angry at her, I slapped her and she's kicking me out and giving Al my room, I feel like there's only you and Al as my family... Are you sure, as you told me that it was a property that you got with work... Thank you so much I didn't realise that, it really means alot, Im working till 3.30 and will be getting the bus back and packing... I know, long day but I've already set off. And your at work aren't you?... Ok, so you want me to call you when I've packed... Ok thanks so much for this... I know, I hope work doesn't go like the other few weeks, the systems have been down and the customers have been so arsy cause of it.... Right trains just pulling in the station so nearly at work, thanks again hun... yeah, speak later... bye..." Elena hangs up.
I left the train station, work is a 10 minute walk from Manchester Victoria and as I set off early, I'm an hour early. I get my phone out to try to ring Al, but his phones off. I am still feeling slight pissed off but at least I know I have somewhere to go. I'm walking across the road and get to near the entrance and bump into someone. I looked up and my breath was taken away by the sight, he was gorgeous, like supermodel gorgeous. Looked as though they had come out of a photoshoot. I quickly and nervously said, " I'm really sorry, for bumping into you." I blinked and they were already gone. I thought, what the hell they were there just 2 seconds ago. Walked into work and got told by the security guard. "Its gonna be a long day, the systems are still down." I felt like shit and that made it worse, I frowned and replied " Thanks for letting me know, I can't wait for the day to be over. " they looked at me sympathetically, replied " I hope it goes better for you."
I walked into the canteen, went and got a hot chocolate.
