Torn

Chapter 2

Sonny and Emily are kissing one another while on the jette docks when someone sees them and rushes down the stairs.

"HEY! WHAT IN THE HEL IS GOING ON!"

Sonny looks at Emily as he reaches down and gently squeezes her hand all the while giving her a glimpse of his killer smile before turning his attention back to his soon to be ex-wife.

"Carly, there's something that I have to tell you. I want a divorce. I don't love you. I never really did. I only married you because of the baby . I have come to realize that when we lost the baby that my heart has always been with Emily. Ever since she first started to date. She is the woman I want to be with."

Carly can't believe what she's just heard. She nods her head all the while showing him that she's angry and furious.

"YOU SICK SON OF A BITCH! SHE's YOUR BEST FRIEND'S LITTLE SISTER AND NOT TO MENTION YOUR DEAD WIFE'S SON'S GIRLFRIEND! HOW IN THE HEL CAN YOU DO THIS TO US!"

Emily looks at both of them before she steps in.

"I'm so sorry, Carly. We never meant for this to happen. You know what. Why don't we just forget about all of this and go back to our lives. You and Sonny can go back to living your life together and I will move on with mine."

Sonny looks at her as he shakes his reaches out taking her hand.

"Emily, please don't do this. I meant what I said. I want to be with you. I don't want to be with Carly anymore. You're the woman I want to have a relationship with and hopefully a future."

Emily smiles at him as she gently reaches up to cup his face.

"I want to be with you, too. I want more than anything in this world to be in a relationship with you. I hope that we do have a future together."

Sonny smiles as he gently pulls her towards him as he leans in kissing her ever so softly.

Emily returns the kiss as she feels him pressing himself into her.

"Ahhhh! Sonny that feels so good!"

Emily moans into his ear.

Sonny smiles at her as he leans over and whispers back.

"Let's go back to the penthouse so we can get to know each other better over dinner."

Emily smiles at him.

"I'd love to. But maybe I should run home and change into something more appropriate."

Sonny looks at her as he leans into caress her face.

"What are you talking about? You look  absolutely stunning in what you're wearing. I wouldn't change a thing."

While they are sharing this very intimate moment neither of them have remembered that Carly is there so she decides to interrupt their moment.

"I hate to interrupt but aren't you forgetting something?"

Sonny and Emily agree pull apart to look at Carly.

"What did we forget?"

"Me."

Juan says as he sees none other than his girlfriend with the man who he thought was his father who is holding her so close and has his arms around her.

Both Sonny and Emily look up to see Juan at the top of the stairs with nothing but anger and rage in his eyes.

Emily looks from Juan to Sonny.

"Can you and Carly give Juan and me a few minutes alone, please?"

Sonny gives her a dimpled grin as he slowly and gently caresses her face.

"Of course. I'll be at Kelly's when your done."

Emily returns the grin.

"I'll be there soon."

Sonny leans into her kissing her cheek before he pulls back and stares at her for a few minutes before he walks towards the steps as he looks at Juan.

"I'm sorry. I should have said something sooner. But then again you cheating on her was the best thing that you could have done."

Juan looks at Sonny.

"How could you! How could you go and take her away from me!"

Sonny looks at Juan.

"You made that mistake when you couldn't be patient and keep fighting for her. You're the one who lost her and your loss is my gain."

Juan stares at Sonny as he walks away towards Kelly's.
