Magic school: The competition begins

Angel gone bad.

I woke up in my bed all excited. In just a week the competitions will begin.

    I got dressed for class.

" english." I said.

   I sat in my usual seat between matt and sawyer. And left from angel.

  I let out a sigh.

    " hey sky." I heard I saw matt. and sawyer behind him.

  " hey matt. Sawyer" I said.

Sawyer as his usual self... Cool.boy won't say hi.

  He just,walked to his seat and sat down.   

  I just rolled my eyes.

  " class lets work on your defense techniques." The teacher said.

   I saw angel enter. Bags under his eyes. he hasn't slept. His eyes darted to the teacher.

   I wonder what is going on with him.

When it was lunch I made my way outside to the lunch tables.

   I noticed angel. He was doing some thing with his powers.

   There was a bunny hopping towards him and stopped right in front of him.

With the look in his eyes. I knew something was about to happen." no" I yelled.

  Angel kicked the bunny. Not hard but he did kick.

    In an instant I saw ivy approaching him.

" hey! " she yelled.

   Angel just stood and looked at her.

" how dare you hurt that adorable animal. It wasn't doing anything to you!" She yelled.

" its an animal? Why would you care. Wait. Never mind your one too. " angel said.

  Ivy had enough. She slapped angel across the face.

  my mouth dropped open.

   He didn't do anything he just walked away.

   Ivy was staring at her hand.

" ivy." I said running towards her.

  " I can't believe I did that." She muttered then walked away.

  " ivy." I said.

After school we all went to the field. And sat down and trained.

   I noticed angel.

He was walking towards us. I saw the principal and the teachers. and the most powerful person.

   Mr. drack.

He won the competition before my mom. But he won everyone with one power. One shot. He won.

  They were behind angel. They were far away and running or speed walking to catch up to angel.

    I got up and stared at the situation. My eyes furrowed since it,was so far away.

  Matt and sawyer were behind me. They were also staring at the situation everyone is.

   Angel stopped in the middle of the field. His hands clenched. hard enough for a vein to pop. 

     We gave him curious looks.

all of a sudden... The vines and roots of plants and trees came out from the ground. Trapping the teachers. 

  " we need to go." I heard matt say in his calm voice. 

  I nodded.He lightly put his hand on my back and pushed me away.

  We walked fast. I grabbed ivy's arm and we ran.

  When we entered the school it was all covered with roots.

  " lets go." I heard matt say once more.

   I stood still. My eyes in wonder. Why would angel do this?

     I saw the familiar blue butterfly.

it flew around. And stopped at the end of the hall. I stared at it then I heard......

Help me. Please.

   My eyes widen.

" sky. We need to go its not safe here." Ashley pulled me out from my thoughts

   I began running inside. Hoping around the roots.

   " skylar!" I heard stella yell.

  " sky. Come back." Sawyer yelled.

    I ignored them.

" sky!" I kept hearing. I just kept running.

   I followed the butterfly.

     Through the halls every corner.

Until the light was gone and and darkness filled the area.
