I woke up slowly. The previous night in the back of my head as if it was a dream. Maybe it was. Nonetheless, I stretched both my arms horizontally, to check if the bed was somehow bigger than I thought it was and he was here laying with me.

My fingertips touched the edge of the bed and I frowned, my eyes still closed.

"I'm right here, Frank." The sudden voice assured.

I jumped, flying my eyes open.

He sat in a rocking chair that rest on the back of the room.

I grinned and jumped out of bed, "Edward, you stayed!"

I hadn't thought about what I was doing and I went to sit on his lap, he laughed carelessly and wrapped his arms around me, pressing me to his chest.

"Of course." He whispered at me. I closed my eyes, "Your hair is very curly." He noted.

I usually brush them out.

"Why?" He ran his hands through my hair softly.

So it won't get tangled.

"You should keep it like this." He was rubbing my back now.

"Where's Charlie?" I asked.

"Left about half an hour ago, after reattaching you battery cables. Is that all it would take to stop you if you really wanted to leave?"

Depending on the weather- I need another human minute.

"I'll wait right here."

I went to wash my face, my eyes seemed brighter and I couldn't help but notice how much nicer I looked when I was excited. I went to brush my hair but decided against it brushing my teeth instead.

I skipped back to my room and he was still in there, in the rocking chair looking straight at me.

He reached out to me, and my heart thumped unsteadily.

"Welcome back," he murmured, taking me into his arms.

He rocked me for a while in silence, until I noticed that his clothes were changed, his hair smooth.

"You left?" I accused, touching the collar of his fresh shirt.

"I could hardly leave in the clothes I came in - what would the neighbors think?"

You could always leave clothes here.

He raised an eyebrow. "That's an idea."

I smiled at the wording. "If you want, of course."

"It seems a little-"

Inappropriate?

He smiled at me. "Yes."

I shrugged, kind of disappointed but I understood, old-school.

"Do you not remember what you dreamt?" He asked suddenly.

I shook my head, Not really.

He nodded, looking at my hair.

"What did I dream of?" I asked, trying to catch his eyes.

He looked directly at me, "You told me you loved me."

I blushed, laughing at myself. You knew that already.

"It was nice to hear, just the same."

"I love you." I said to him, placing my hand hesitantly on his chest.

"You are my life now," he answered simply.

There was a spawn of anger before I started to mix colors but he had heard enough before I tried to distract him so he laughed.
