Lacey: "2:49" I whispered to myself. One more minute until class was over and spring break started! Tonight at 7:00 my friend Kelsey and I's plane would take off and head to Clearwater Beach Florida! I'm a junior in high school with medium-ish blonde hair and emerald green eyes. I play volleyball and soccer and I guess you could say I have a athletic body. Kelsey is my brunette best friend with blue eyes and a figure that makes all the boys fall for her. I mean, boys fall for me too but I'm not looking for a man, sports are my life and I don't plan on changing that. I'm from the peach state of Georgia, Macon,Georgia to be exact. For my birthday in March my parents surprised me with a trip to Florida for spring break with my best friend Kelsey, and the best part they paid for our 5star hotel on the beach and plane tickets, plus money for food and of course shopping money! I'm a total country girl but shopping is my guilty pleasure. The bell finally rang and I rushed to my locker and put all my books into it and shit and locked it. I met Kelsey out by her Chevy Traverse and we grabbed some Chipotle. "Oh my gosh!! Only 4 hours and we'll be in the sun and sand. I can't wait I seriously need a vacation away from my parents and Kaden" Kelsey said. Kaden is her now ex-boyfriend, they were the perfect couple until he knocked up another girl over winter break. "I know I'm ready to catch some sun and maybe party!" "Whaa-t? Did I hear little Miss.goody goody say party?!" "Hell yeah girly! I'm gonna get my flirt on but I'm not looking for a relationship." "Damn Lace don't be a tease!" "Mmkay sure.. Are you ready?" We threw our trays away and she dropped me off at my house to get packed for our trip. Ever though it's only a 5 hour drive, our parents didn't want us to drive that far so that's why we are flying. I pulled out my Vera Bradley suite-case and packed about 5 bathing suites all my PINK tanks and shirts and some beach dresses and my favorite holey hollister jeans and of course a ton of shorts and my ray-bans. Around 6:00 Kelsey picked me up and we drove to the airport. We got there a hour early to have enough time to get through security and board. About a half an hour later we boarded the plane just as the sun was setting. Finally around 8 we landed and my aunt lives in Tampa so she picked us up from the airport and drove us to our hotel. We checked in and it was so beautiful! As soon as we got in our room I changed into my black ruffled bandeau top and white shorts and we went down to the beach. There was a party on the pier and we got some fro-yo and laid on the beach watched the waves crash. I laughed and said "well isn't this romantic". Kelsey chuckled and said "yeah definitely.. If we had some hot guys with us". Just then a football hit the back of my head. I flinched and stood up "what the hell man?!" As soon as I said that I instantly regretted it because when I saw the person who threw it was really cute! He had brown swoopy hair and crystal blue eyes that glowed under the full moon. He was built too! He had a nice 6 pack and muscular arms and biceps. His mouth dropped wide open and said "oh my gosh I'm so sorry darlin!" My mouth opened and nothing came out. For once I was lost for words. "It's uhm okay." He smiled softly and said "would you wanna go over to the pier? I know I've only said one sentence to you but you're very beautiful! I know I also sound creepy so if you don't want to it's fine, wow this is really awkward I'm sorry. Maybe I should go?" I started blushing really hard and I couldn't hide it. Nobody's ever said something that spontaneous to me and I'm here to party so why not, plus he's cute and thinks I'm beautiful!! Then he started walking away. "Wait! Don't go, sure I'd love to go with you! What's your name?" He turned around and smiled, "my names Trevor, how about you?" "Well hey Trevor! I'm Lacey" "Thats a really pretty name,Lacey" I giggled and he held out his hand and we walked over to the pier. I turned around and saw his friend talking to Kelsey so I figured she wouldn't be mad about me leaving. I still couldn't believe this was happening. We say there on the edge on the pier and talked forever. He asked me "so where are you from?" "I'm from Macon, how about yourself?" I could see the sadness in his face from my answer. "I'm uhm from Lake City, FL." That kinda ruined my hopes because if we did become a thing it would be long distance and that would kill me. "Oh that's kinda far away huh?" "Yeah. How long are you staying?" "Until next Sunday afternoon, what about you?" "Really? Same! Maybe we could like hang out this week, if you want? My friend Bryan and I are staying at the Hyatt what about you?" "No way! Me and my friend Kelsey are staying there too! Haha! What's your room number" "922 yours?" "930!!" "Oh my gosh that's awesome! Do you wanna go watch a movie in my room and sit on the balcony?" "Uhm ya! But as long as that's all we do." "Oh ya of course! I'm not that those of guy to have sex with someone I've just met.. and I am uh virgin too so uhm ya. So this is kinda awkward .." "Oh hah I'm one too and awkward is fun haha! I'll go tell Kelsey where I will be and I'm gonna change, I'll meet you in your room in 10?" "Sounds good! I should probably tell Bryan not to bother me." Haha! Sounds like a plan." We got up and I went to talk to Kelsey and he went to Bryan. "Kelsey!!! OMG!! He's so cute and his southern accent oh my lord! And we're in the same hotel a couple rooms down so we're gonna go watch a movie in his room! And no we're not gonna bang. So don't wait up for me." "Oh girl get it! And me and this Bryan dude are gonna go back to our room and sit on the balcony and talk and listen to the waves." Alright cool! Remember to use protection haha!"
