School was over I walked into the parking lot and waited for Elias I was there for about half an hour when I finally just headed home. I couldn't believe he blew me off.

I started tearing up. When I got home mom told me to eat dinner. I told her I wasn't hungry. I went upstairs and layed in my bed. My phone rang.

Lila: "Hello".
Ellias: "Hey sorry I couldn't make it".
I could hear that his voice was hoarse.
Lila: "What happened why didn't you come".

I heard a long pause. "My parents and young sister were killed in a fire I drove home ten minutes before school ended to get ready when I got there the house was on fire there were ambulance and fire fighters everywhere". Said Elias.

I didn't know what to say. I was silent for a minute. "I'm so sorry". I said. We talked for a while and then hung up. I felt so bad for Elias.

I couldn't imagine losing my parents. I went downstairs mom and dad were sitting in the kitchen. There was a plate of sushi on the table sushi was my favorite.

"Mom dad is this for me". I asked. "Of course". They said. I sat down and ate my sushi. I thought to myself about where Elias would stay. "Mom dad my friend lost his parents and sister in a fire he has no where to go can we help him". I asked.

They looked at each other for a while. "I don't see why not". Said mom. I hugged her and ran upstairs I couldn't wait to tell him tomorrow.
