I was awakened to a loud banging noise. I jumped out of bed and looked around my room I couldn't see Alice anymore she wasn't in her crib. I screamed for the nurses they ran into the room.

"She's gone Alice is gone where is she". I screamed. One of the nurses put her arm on my back. "Shh it's okay we took her to the nursery to do a check-up while you were sleeping you never like to put her down so we never got the chance to check her out she's safe". One of the nurses said to me.

They all kind of looked at me Dazed and Confused. "Why so nervous everything's okay are you okay? One of the nurses asked me.

"Of course I'm fine just tired that's all the banging just startled me". I replied.

I laid back down in the bed one of the nurses handed me Alice I cradled her in my arms for a while then put her in her bassist next to me and then drifted off to sleep. I woke up that morning still a bit shaken. Today was the day we both get to go home I'm so nervous I didn't know what to do should I tell someone.

I turned the TV on. The news was on its talking about my parents. I was shocked I couldn't look I turned it off.

One of the nurses walked in. "Someone's here to see you and the baby". She said. I knew who it was and I just stayed quiet. When he walked into the room I just stared at him I feared for my life for my daughter's life. I had to make some choices and decision it's time.
