Ch.3
Jerome POV
As soon as Mitch woke up, I knew he would freak out. I just kept blotting the blood off of his arm until I hear him whimper in pain. I tell him that he's okay and he instantly freaks out. He asks me where he is, all I answer is "you're somewhere where your demons can't get to you." Mitch sinks back down into my bed and puts the covers over himself and says very quietly almost a whisper, " why?..." I sit next to him and he flinches thinking I would hurt him so I instantly stood back up and put my arms up as if I was surrendering to show him that I wasn't going to hurt him. He starts to slide out of my bed and stands up but instantly falls down onto the floor. I run over to him and pick him up and put him one the bed. " Mitch, you lost a lot of blood.. You're still weak...please get some rest.." Mitch looks terrified and his eyes start to water as he says " please don't hurt me!!!" I back away a little and said I wouldn't hurt him anymore. I knew that he had a hard time believing me but I knew it would take some time.
