MitchPOV-

I'm so fucking tired. I buried my head in his chest and closed my eyes. "Aw are you sleepy?" Jerome said with a slight voice crack since he was just crying. I nodded and snuggled into his chest. Jerome suddenly leaned back and held me close to him and hit his bed with a little thud. "I love you Mitch" Jerome said as we snuggled and cuddled together. I hid my head in the crook of his neck and said in a slightly muffled voice, "I love you too"

"I will never leave you." Jerome told me. "I know..." I replied slightly unsure about what he was saying. Jerome suddenly sat up and I looked at him confused. "Mitch. Do you love me?..." He asked me in a serious tone looking me in the eyes. "Yes." I said starring back at him. "Will you marry me?..." Jerome asked suddenly and I was in shock. MARRY HIM?! What?!...I would love to! But...we're so young!! "Jerome...yes... I would love to..." Jerome's eyes lit up, "but how are we gonna do this?..." I questioned. "What do you mean? We'll live together and go to school together and we'll be able to be together forever!! We won't have to worry about people finding out about us!!!! We can just be us!!!" I was shocked. I had no clue what to say. "Y..yes!!!!" I screamed and we both grabbed onto each other in a hug that I never planned on ending. I was so happy. Everything was perfect!

JeromePOV-

I can't believe I just asked him to marry me!!!..are we ready?..I don't even have a fucking ring!!!!! "Hold on a second babe.." I said as I put him on the bed and kissed his forehead. "I'll be right back!! Don't move an inch!!" I said as I ran out of the room and went downstairs. "Momomomomomomom!!!!!!!!!" I yelled as I ran up to my mother. "What what what?!" She said. "Where's grandma's engagement ring she gave me?!" I asked "what?! Why do you need that?! Your grandmother said specifically to give it to the girl you were going to marry!! " She said"Just please!! Where is it?!?" I asked desperately as she went over to her jewelry box in her vanity and gave me the ring and said, "don't do anything stupid and don't loose it!!!", "I know mom!" I replied as I ran away back to my room. I burst through my room's door panting and ran up to Mitch and got down on one knee. "Mitchell Hughes....we've been through so fucking much and I can't say how much I love you....will you marry me?....please?..." I said as I held the ring out to him.

MitchPOV-

"YES!!!!!" I screamed as he put the ring on my finger. We both stood up and hugged and kissed for a while. The ring was gorgeous. It was silver with gold stripes with a small ruby on the front. "Where did you get such a gorgeous ring?" I asked and he answered, "my grandma gave it to me before she passed away and told me to give it to the person I truly loved." I felt so special, so happy. " Jerome?...", "yes?" He answered, "I'm starving" I said and we both laughed lightly. "Let's go eat dinner my lovely fiancé." He said and it made my heart skip a beat. I nodded and followed him out of the room and down stairs into him dinning room. "Oh good! Dinner is just ready!" Jerome's mom said. Me and Jerome both sat down at the table next to each other while Jerome's dad say across from me. His mom came back into the room and sat across from Jerome and we all began eating. Well...most of us. I was completely mesmerized my the ring. I kept starring at it and smiling like an idiot. That's when I saw Jerome's mom look over to see what I was smiling at. She saw the ring and her face was completely shocked. I saw her lightly tap her husband's shoulder and she motioned towards the ring trying to be subtle and not have me or Jerome see it. But Jerome being Jerome of course didn't see it and kept on eating. His dad neat chocked when he saw the ring. "Dad!" Jerome said. "I'm fine I'm fine!" His father answered in a slightly aggressive tone. "If you will excuse me. I'll just be going to bed. Margret, will you join me for a moment?" His dad asked and his mother nodded and followed him out of the room. I looked at Jerome who was completely oblivious. "Jerome... They saw the ring...." I whispered. His eyes grew wide. "Nonononononoonono!!!!" He said " my parents are homophobes!!!!!!!!" He told me and my eyes grew wide. "Jerome...I'm scared!! What do we do?!" I said and he grabbed me into a hug and stroked my hair. "Shhh... It'll all be okay Mitch....it'll all work out.....let's just go up to my room and we'll sort this out tomorrow!" He told me and I nodded and followed him up to his room. We locked the door, put on our pajamas and cuddled in bed together until be both fell asleep.
