Jasper:
I was losing. There was too many of them and I should've known it.
The Rose boy, the defected Pearl, the runt, and those fusion were much stronger than I expected them to be. And then place with the two traitors and the human girl, it was one against eight.
" Surrender Jasper! You are out numbered!", the bird squawked.
Her voice is nauseating, but she was correct.
How stupid could I have been? " I have to think of a better plan.", I whsipered to myself.
Taking a step back, I sped off the oppisite way, finding a way from being captured.
" After her!!", the fusion yelled.
The patter of their feet grew louder and a little closer than I expected it.
The race was on, my legs starting to burn, but my adrenaline kept me from stopping. This couldn't be the end, I couldn't be caught, I had to fufill my duty for the sake of her.
my diamond. pink diamond.
It's motive made me run faster, finally finding a place to hide.
A green forest, I had to make it, to blind them through the trees.
Steven:
" She's heading for the forest!", Amethyst called out.
We tried to run, but I was getting really tired.
We are so close, we'll lose her if she gets in.
" Come on Steven!", I heard Connie scream.
" I'm getting really tired guys!", I shouted out.
My feet were hurting from running in sandals, and least to say I had too many fry bits today so I feel like I was gonna throw up.
Jasper sadly reached the row of trees, running past in a great amount of speed.
" If we keep going, we can still catch her!!", Pearl shouted in confidence, only to be stopped by Garnet. Seeming to be unaffected by the long run, which wasn't surprising. " Garnet, we can still-"
" Leave her..", Garnet said calmly.
" WHAAATTT?!", Pearl exclaimed.
( Am I the only that can hear that infamous 'what' that Pearl did in that episode? lol gets me every time.)
" Garnet, what are you talking about?! We had a substantially great chance to finally catch her!", Peridot shouted in anger.
" just trust me.", Garnet said quietly.
The quick steps of Jasper's feet quickly faded away.
I looked up at an out-of-breath Connie, placing her sword back in her holder. Peridot was speaking angrily at herself, making an awkward temper tantrum. I looked at Lapis, who was looking into the forest, but more of a distance look, her water wings straddled her back. Amethyst was laying on the sand, panting heavily as she tried to take in all the air that she could. I looked at Pearl, her face shocked, but then looked down in defeat, holding her nose bridge in disappointment. The last person I looked at was Garnet.
