Adventure Bay's Destruction

Chapter 2

The buildings in Adventure Bay were falling over and Ryder and the pups were nowhere to be seen. But Zuma's hovercraft rose up and he went searching for Ryder and his friends. "Ryder?! Pups?! Anybody?!" said Zuma. He then saw Chase's police cap floating in the water and he saw Chase lying on one of Mr Porter's food crates. "Chase dude! Boy am I glad that you're here! Come on, we've got to find Ryder and the other pups!" said Zuma. "You got it!" said Chase. Chase hopped in Zuma's hovercraft and they went to search for Ryder and the other pups.

"Ryder?! Pups?! Where are you guys?!" said Chase. "Chase dude, look!" said Zuma pointing at something or someone. Chase got a closer look and it was a certain cockapoo. "It's Skye!" said Chase a little too excited. "Let's head there now!" said Zuma. "Uh Zuma? Am I seeing things or is that a dorsal fin heading right towards us?" said Chase. "It's not heading towards us, it's heading towards Skye!" said Zuma. "WHAT?! Can you go faster?!" said Chase. "Sure can dude!" said Zuma as he stepped on it. Skye was waking up and she noticed the dorsal fin heading towards her. She screamed in terror and started swimming the opposite direction of the shark.

"SKYE!" said a familiar voice. She turned around and it was Chase and Zuma in Zuma's hovercraft. "Zuma! Chase!" said Skye swimming towards them. The shark was gaining on her but she swam as fast as her little legs would go. "Come on Skye! You can do it!" said Chase as he reached his paw out to her. The shark then showed its face and lifted its mouth open but Chase grabbed Skye's front paws and she was slipping out of his grasp. But Chase wouldn't give up, he pulled her in and the shark leaped over and almost had Skye but it barely missed. Skye was ok but she was shaking like crazy and Chase was there to comfort her with a huge hug. "Thanks Chase! I wouldn't have made it without you helping me in!" said Skye as she started shedding tears. "Shhh, its ok Skye! I won't let anything happen to you!" said Chase calmly as Zuma drove the hovercraft away from the shark.
