Adventure Bay's Destruction

Chapter 8

The pups were now out of the city and are now in Jake Mountain, but they can't celebrate yet, there are more sharks in that area. They killed 2 and they have a lot more to go. "How many sharks are there?!" said Rubble. "We had two tsunamis so we probably have a boatload more!" said Rocky. The pups all saw the cabin being almost completely underwater, and they saw the boat that Everest was going to escape in. "Pups look, it's a boat!" said Marshall. Chase sniffed around looking for Everest and Jake's scent, but nothing, all he smelled was blood.

That wasn't a good sign, he dove underwater, but there were no sharks. Chase swam back up to the hovercraft and still no dorsal fins in sight but he still smelled the blood. "Chase! Get back in here, I don't want to lose you!" said Skye. Chase climbed back in the hovercraft and Skye hugged him tightly. "Zuma, we've got to find Jake and Everest and get out of here!" said Marshall. "Why dude?!" said Zuma. Because I can smell blood but there are no sharks here, but that's not a good sign!" said Chase. Zuma drove faster on the hovercraft to search for Jake and Everest.

A shark rammed into the hovercraft and this time there was nothing left of the hovercraft to ride, all the pups were separated into two. Chase and Skye, Rubble and Zuma, Marshall and Rocky. Skye was dangling from a tree branch holding on for dear life, and Chase ran across the branch as fast as he can. Skye was slipping and there were sharks underneath Skye, ready for a bite. Skye's grip gave out but Chase grabbed her paw before she could get eaten. "Chase, I'm scared! Please don't let me fall!" said Skye. "I won't Skye! I PROMISE!!" said Chase as he pulled her up and she was now resting on Chase's stomach. "Thank you Chase! You saved my life again!" said Skye. "No problem Skye! I just can't bare seeing you get hurt! You're trying reason why I'm still standing, because I care for you and because I love you!" said Chase. Skye said nothing but kissed him and then said "I love you too! I've always have!" said Skye. "Now we need to figure out how we're going to get out of this mess!" said Chase.
