Which poi do you people have? Mine are the ones on the cover, pod poi. In this chapter, I'm explaining how to make your own basic poi.
Materials Needed:
1 pair of socks (I find kneesocks work the best)
2 bags of rice/tennis balls(I find tennis balls work better but rice is less painful. It's your choice)
Instructions:
1)Take one sock and stuff a tennis ball through the opening.
2) push it down to the bottom
3) repeat steps one and two on the other sock
4) start spinningNotes:
The socks will stretch over time, you may need to replace them.
When holding sock poi, I prefer to wrap them around my hands then close
my fist over them.
Don't be discouraged. It takes alot of practice
Expect to hit yourself. It's gonna happen.
