Makayla's Pov

I was on my laptop watching Finding Dory on Netflix, "Hey uh can I ask you something?" I looked up from my laptop and see Sophia peeking her head in my room. "Sure! What's up?" I asked closing my laptop and setting it down on my bed, I sat up and waved her over to my bed. She made her way and sat down "Uhm I like this guy.." she paused for a moment "but I don't know if he likes me" she said looking at me "oh you want boys advice?" I asked, she nodded, "uh don't you think your brother has great advice for this." I told her, she sighed "nevermind I uh don't know why I bothered asking" she said getting up "Soph if you really want the guy to like you then be yourself." I said "don't try to be something you're not." I added. She smiled and gave me a hug "thanks .. sis" she said, I wrapped my arms around her "anytime" I smiled, she called me sis, I don't know why but I felt happy, maybe having step siblings won't be bad after all, she pulled away and walked out my room with a smile plastered on her face.

Later That Night

I walked downstairs, I see Jen working on dinner, this is my chance to get to know her, to see how it feels to actually have a mother, to be there, to talk to, to support you, I was only one years old when my mom passed, I looked down at my necklace, I opened the locket to reveal a pic of little me, wrapped in a blanket, in my mother's arms, my dad was kissing my forehead as I was sleeping,  I smiled, I squeezed the necklace in my hand tight, I never took this off not even when I take a shower, this necklace was my mothers, its the last thing my dad kept, my father would the himself if he got rid of this so when I turned eight years old my father gave me this for my birthday.

"Oh hi I didn't see you there" jen said which got me back to reality, I looked up "Oh uh I was wondering if you needed some help with dinner" I said with a small smile "Sure um do you think you can set up the table?" I nodded and I grabbed 5 plates, and dining utensils, and napkins, I set up the dining table, once I was finish setting the table up, I admired the work I did

"Hmm nice work Kay" I heard a voice behind me say, I turned my head and look to see a joey leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest, he had sweat trickling down his neck to his chest soaking through his white muscle shirt, I bit my lip, I must've stared for awhile cause now he was up close to me

"Why not take a picture? It'll last longer." He said with a smirk and before he ran upstairs he shot me with a wink.

I let out a breathe that I didnt even know I was holding in, I sat on the couch, I smiled, a guy I only met 2 weeks ago is now living with me and he is making it harder for me to realize that he is gonna be my soon-to-be brother, ugh why did it have to be him??

Joey's Pov

I took a quick shower after I did a little workout session, i laid my head back in the warm water, the way it was trickling down my body, the warmth of the foggy rest room made me feel like I could never get out.

I was lost in my thoughts, knock...knock... I rolled my eyes "Yeah!" I answered "uh your mom said dinner is ready." I heard the sweet soft voice of Makayla, I turned off the faucet, and I opened the curtain and wrapped a towel around my waist

I grabbed onto the doorknob and twisted it to reveal Makayla, I looked her up and down, her eyes were so beautiful.

She bit her lip, "mm can I just kiss your face" she said "well my lips wanna feel your lips on mine" I said

She hurried to me and smashed her lips on mine, our moans filled the restroom, I closed the restroom door, i left soft wet kisses down her jawline to her neck, her lovely moans filled my ears, I pulled away and kissed her lips.

As we were kissing in sync, I bend a little and placed my hands below her bum and lift her up, she wrapped her legs around my waist

I set her down on the counter, she pulled away and took off her shirt....

"Helloooo" I snapped back to reality "Huh? What?" I said "are you gonna eat or not?" She asked

"Uh yeah I'll be there in a sec" I said realizing that I was imagining me and Kayla about to have sex, I closed the door quickly

Makayla's Pov

Joey was acting weird, but eh it doesn't matter cause why should I bother, he doesn't even like me becoming his sister.

I walked downstairs to join the rest of the family, I sat in my spot next to Sophie
