"So do you have any siblings" I asked, entering the classroom.

"Yep, an overprotective older brother, though I live with my cousins and their friends," she answered, taking a seat in the back.

"What about the parents" I wondered as I dropped my bag on the desk behind hers.

She laughed, "They're usually busy so our elder cousins takes care of us."

"All of you?" I asked surprised.

"I'm mean like, you know those friends of your cousin that live with you, their parents too?"

"Yeah, you see-" she cut off as she saw the teacher. We were so into our conversation, we didn't even notice the class started.

"Well, what do we have here ladies. Mind sharing your conversation with the class." He said with a smirk on his face. Jerkface!

"Mr. Salmonson." she said.

He looked at her, sounding taken aback. "Yes"

"Mind you own business." she said wiping that stupid smirk off of his face while the class tried to muffled their laughter.

He's face reddened. "You two, detention after school!" He scowled before walking away.

Not soon after he reached the front of the room he continued his lesson as if nothing happened. I turned to see Eternity writing something. Taking notes maybe? Uh, after what happened with the teacher, not likely. I broke out of my thoughts as I saw a piece of paper on my table. Looking over I saw Eternity mouth ,'read it'. I nodded and unfolded the piece of paper.

'Lol did you see the look on his face.'

I smiled and wrote back. 'Yah it was hilarious.'

She replied a few seconds later. 'Though I'm sorry I got you detention too. I didn't think he would give it 2 both of us.'

I chuckled quietly to myself a bit. 'Don't worry about it I was going 2 say something 2, u just talked before I had a chance, so I would of gotten detention anyways.' I scribbled

We continued like this for the rest of the class. As the bell ranged we rushed out, not wanting to stay back and get caught by Mr. S again. We chatted as we visit our locker, prepare to go to lunch.

"Want to sit with us." she invited, closing her locker.

"Sure," I shrugged," It's not like I know anyone else here."

As we reached the cafeteria, I noticed everyone's in their own groups already. I followed Eternity to a table in the back. Sitting there was 5 guys and 2 girls chating away. Eternity sat down next to a blonde guy while I sat on her other side.

"Hey guys I want you to meet Melody." Eternity exclaimed. After a chorus of hellos they introduced themselves.

"I'm Jake," said the blonde guy next to Eternity.

"Hi I'm Jenn, Jake's younger sister," said the girl sitting across from me.

"I'm Elisabeth, that spiked hair guy's Luke, the shorty s Kef, and that jerk that's currently ignoring us is Shane." He's the guy from my first class.

Before I was able to say anything he stood up. "I'm leaving," he said and walked away. What's with him. He's acting like an grumpy old man. I mentally laughed at that thought.

"Just ignore that jerkface. He's usually like that.”

“Huh,” I said, absentmindly as my eyes followed his retreating figure.

They continued to talk and chat. In a few minute the Shane incident was forgotten as I bonded with everyone.

They rest of the day finished uneventfully. I had two more classes with Shane and one with Elizabeth and Luke. Luckily Mr. S had something to do so we got out of detention.

“So honey, how was your day.” Uh, why do parents always ask that. It's like the same thin everyday and she knows that.

I gave her a tired smile. “Good. I made some new friends.”

She laughed and nodded. “By the way your Aunt Karce's visiting next weekend with Sasha.

I brightened, “Really, awesome!”

“Karce wanted to visit before Sasha's school term starts. So yes.” She smiled, pulling into our drive way.

I rolled my eyes, “That was a rhetorical questioned.”

She laughed and soon after I was laughing too. Just a week more and I get to see Sasha again.

“Yes, yes now don't get too excited. Go prepare for dinner.”

“Okay” I sped up to my room. Taking my glasses of and putting them aside, I changed into my inside wear and went to the kitchen.

”Hey Andy, what are we having today.” I sat down.

He smiled, “My famous Pasta.”

“Awesome! Where's Lucy.?”

“Madam's making a phone called.” He answered pleasantly.

As he said that she stalked out of her office and headed over. Though she looks irritated for some reason. I wondered what happened.

“What;s up,?” I questioned.

“Your father called and it seems that Kai got into a fight again. He punched this kid in the nose because that kid was bullying this other kid so he just defends another kid but the principle's flipping blinded, he said that Kai was in the wrong. I can't believe it!” she huffed.

I sighed. This happens all the time. Kai's just too rash. “So they re not coming back for dinner?”

She shook her head, “Your dad's having a talk to the principle right now.”

“Okay,” I shrugged, as Andy came back with two plates of his special made lasagna.

“Now lets start dinner,” she said with a huge smile. Her mood sure changes fast. Dinner was nice and pleasant, we chatted a little about this and that. Finishing my plate I put it in the sink and headed back to my room.

Flopping down on my bed I thought about the events that happened today. I still can't get the guy, Shane out of head. He just seems so familiar and when I think about him I would always think about the kid.

I shook my head and got up. I hate confusing myself. Grabbing my towel I headed to my bathroom. Taking a nice hot shower should clear my mind. As I got out I heard the front door open.
