So Kai's finally home. I sigh, quickly getting dressed and went down. As I came down I was greeted with a hug from David and a pout from Kai, with Lucy no where to be seen.
“So what happened?” I asked.
He shook his head, “The principle was stubborn. It just happens that the kid Kai punched happened to be his son. He decided to a week of in school suspension. “
“ I was only trying to help,” Kai huffed, irritated.
I cracked a small and ruffled his hair, “Yes, yes your right. That's why you say this every time.” He pouted.
“So where's Lucy.” I asked, turning my attention back to him.
He gestured to the office, “Making a call to school.” I nodded understanding.
“Come on Kai lets go, knowing mom she ll get you out of trouble, and give them a headache when she s done.” I laughed.
“Whatever, it wasn't my fault anyways.”
“Yah, yah. Anyways goodnight.” And with that I headed to my room. As my head touched the pillow I immediately fell in to a deep, undisturbed slumber.
