Smile widely, I looked at my creation, a flower crown. All of the sudden it was snatched out of my hand. I looked up and my eyes met the electric blue my brother's.
He was smirking real big. I pouted, my cheek puffed out, and reach to grab it. Moving away in the last second, he ran for it. Chasing him, I scream to have it back. Ignoring me he continued to run. I soon caught up to which he was only just a few feet away when all of the sudden, I tripped, falling flat on my face.
Tears started to flow down my face. As I cried I felt someone pulled me up. I dried my tears only to see my brother standing the with the flower crown held out in his hand.
“Come on Mels, don t cry. Here,!” he smiled and place the flower crown on me. “There all better.” I sniffed once more before I smiled.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Crash!
I looked over. There, across from my room and laid on the floor broken, was my 17th alarm. Not that I counted or anything.
I got up and stretched as I headed for the shower. Stupid alarm clock, and I was having a good dream too. What was I dreaming about anyways?
Getting out I quickly got dress and headed down.
The rest of the week was really uneventful, with Shane continuing to avoid me. I cant help but feel a pinch of sadness at that.

“We're here, honey,” I felt someone shake me.
I yawned as we skidded to a stop. Looking up came to see a humongous, and I mean humongous, mansion. Even that's a huge understatement, it's more like a castle. Suddenly a wave nostalgia washed over me. I felt as if I've been there before, which is really weird because I can be sure I would remember if I did.
“I'll be back in a few,” I told Lucy, and walked to the front gate. I ranged the doorbell and waited. In a blink of a eye, Eternity was there. I jumped.
How does she do that? I didn't even see her coming.
I was about to question her about it when all the sudden she gave me a bear hug, squeezing the life out of me.
“Eternity I think you should let her go. You wouldn't want to kill our guest, would you?” Someone said from behind.
“Oops, sorry,” she apologized as she let me go. I looked to see a dark haired guy who seems like he s somewhere in his 20s.
“Oh, this is Gale, my cousin, and Gale, this is Melody,” she introduced.
“Uh, hi.” I said shyly with a small smile.
“He smirked, “Hello Melody, I've heard many things about you.”
I gave him a awkward smile. “Come on,” Eternity waved, let's go inside. Also Gale, don't you have to get to work.”
“Ya Ya whatever, I m going.” With a roll of his eyes, he disappeared. Literally. Just poof, and gone.
“Exposing himself like that,” I heard Eternity mutter under her breath, as she lead me inside.
I wonder what she meant by 'exposing'. Oh well. We chatted a little as we continued to walk. Before long I heard shouts and soon after we stopped at a room where the voices seems to come from.
Only after Eternity opened it did I know it was a game room and, lounging around the room was the gang, arguing among themselves..
“Everyone shut it!” she yelled, and then, in a much nicer tone, “Melody's here.”
Funny thing was they actually quieted down. Liz and Jenn quickly ran up and gave me hugs, while the guys just stared before going back to arguing.
:So what are you guys doing?” I questioned.
Liz signed, “They're arguing what to play, Halo or Call of Duty. We were just watching, but the just had to drag us in it too.” She shook her head. I giggled.
:Come on. Let's just leave those idiots to fight it out.” I nodded and followed them out. I looked back briefly and noticed that Shane wasn't there. I wonder if he's home. Uhhh. I m thinking too much, whatever he's doing is none of my business. Pushing those thought into the back my mind I forgot about it.
