A little lie

chapter 5

Nothing interesting happened at all during the school week. The only thing remotely interesting was when julia invited me....again....to her party. I told her i was sorry but i had all ready promised johnathan i would go to his. She glared at me and walked away. But, i did find out why C hates her so much. So heres the basics.

1. In eigth grade, on the school feildtrip, julia and C were friends, and i mean best friends. But when C went to go get a smoothie julia stuck her tounge down c's boy friends throat. This did not sit well.

2.the summer at the beach....well she pulled off her bikini top and made her flash everybody.......

"So shes completely oblivious to the fact you are crushing on johnathan AND that we are still friends? WOW! You do know how to work your magic dont you C?" "Yeah i told her some dumb lies and she took them like she was being fed candy."

I turn and look at julia. Just then mikel, julias older brother walks in. To be honest hes not the hottest guy ever...and hes a little on the 'buff not chunky' side."well anyways. Are we all wearing to johnathans party?" We both exchange glances and laugh.but he was serious. Julia then sends me on my way, but, before she shuts the door " hey...i think that whole 'im throwing a party thing' is a complete wast of time. I mean she doesnt want to come anyways....and it seems like your trying to get me NOT to go to johnathans party..." i walk to my car and turn" its not that at all julia! You can come now if you want! Just say you cancled the party 'all because she didnt come' " i smirk. "Itll be perfect"

" that was weird" "what?" Asked brent. "What was weird?" I turn and say...."i thought i saw C walking out of julias house.." brent looked bored. "So." I roll my eyes "SO..they suposedly hate each other and its...weird is all..." brent replied with a "i thought she didnt have a car" i stopped to think "weird...." he steps in the car, "well just get in the car we're going to be late to dinner" before we go to the party mom said we had to go to her co-workers FANCY dinner. Like we really wanted to,or even had the choice to or not.
