Chapter 13 ~ Suit up

~Third person's POV~

"I think it is time." Liam says one day after watching his friends train for a while. All of them are now capable of controlling their powers and even became stronger. 

It has been three months since Niall first came into the cabin and got attacked by Harry and Louis. He made the greatest progress out of all of them. He doesn't need his gloves anymore. Controlling ice is now like breathing. It comes naturally to him. 

Running away from home he will never regret, nor meeting Liam, Harry and Louis . Neither does he regret meeting Zayn. What he does deplore is getting caught so easily by the men in the white coats and leaving Zayn in the claws of Liam's dad. 

Every day he pains himself with thoughts about how many people Zayn has killed already because of the doctor. How much pain he must be in. But Zayn had seen him escape and nodded. He didn't go after them and that gives Niall hope that somewhere, Zayn is still in his right mind, is still himself. Maybe they can save him. 

If they make it out alive. 

"Time?" Louis asks. "To attack the institution?" 

Liam nods and leads all of the gifted inside. 

"Great, 'cause I have been thinking...." Louis starts up running around the room happily. All eyes are in him now. "We will be fighting for our rights with super cool powers in a team. We are like the Avengers... Or... Or... Justice le..." 

"We are not superheroes, Louis." Harry speaks up. He is sipping a bottle of water, sitting next to Niall and Liam at the kitchen table. "We are not living in a stupid comic where everything will be okay in the end. People will die. If we attack tomorrow, we may not make it back. Liam's dad could win and kill us all. Like we are rodents, small inconveniences shitting on his kitchen floor. Who knows what he has in store for us. We could be walking into a trap."

Louis frowns. "Don't be such a mood killer, Haz." He mumbles. "I think we are superheroes. We have been training for months. We have a master plan that will work. We will win and liberate the other gifted like us." 

Harry shakes his head and stares out of the window. "As long as I get to slit his throat slowly I will be fine." 

Niall winces at that. Harry is clearly here for the revenge only, but no one else seems to care about his harsh words. Louis starts his speech again. 

"So, since I do think we are like superheroes, I have been thinking." He picks up some articles about the fire in Hartwood hospital and their own plans of attack. 

"When we attack, people will notice." 

Liam nods in agreement. "They burned down their last facility and that was on the news." It had been on the news the day Niall escaped the horror prison and saw Zayn kill mindlessly. They had discovered the bodies after the local fire department put out the fire. Investigators have no clue what really happened. 

"People will definitely notice what will be going on tomorrow. They moved to the middle of the city. An attack like this one with gifted people in the middle of Glasgow will mean the world will pick up on us. God knows how they will react."

"But then what will we do?" Niall asks, nervously playing with a pen he found. 

"Well, I have been thinking about that." Louis says. 

"Did you hurt yourself?" Harry sarcastically asks him without missing a beat. 

Louis sticks out his tongue at him before continuing. "So, as I said, I was thinking: super-suits. To hide our identity."
