3 months later

I can't hide that I'm pregnant anymore. I've gained weight over the past couple months and it doesn't look normal. I said it's just that I've been eating a lot but people have their assumptions. I've decided to keep the baby. I've grown to want this baby. I just got back from the doctors and I've gotten results on the gender.

"Jen, can we see the baby pictures?" My little sister Paisley asked. I told my family that I'm pregnant and gladly they were all okay with it.

"In a minute. Go get James and I'll get Judy and mama, okay?" I said. She nodded and ran off to get her little brother. I opened the basement door and yelled down,

"Judy! Come up to the kitchen. I'm opening the photos"  I yelled down the corridor of stairs. She yelled a single okay, so I closed the door and walked to the upstairs corridor.

"Mom! Come down. I'm going to open the photos with the family." I said and walked back to the kitchen without needing a response. When I got back to the kitchen, James and Paisley were already seated at the island. I have no clue how the got on the stools because they're tall but I just let it go.

"I'm here" Judy said emerging from the  hallway. She came and sat on the stool beside Paisley at the island.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" Paisley asked as we waited for my mom.

"I don't know yet Hun. That's another thing we're going to figure out" I said to the little girl.

"I want a brother" James said causing me and Judy to laugh.

"It's not your brother or sister, James. It will be your niece or nephew because you are my brother" I told the toddler. He thought for a minute and gave me a response.

"Wait... I'm aunt Ila-Mae and uncle Jeff's nephew. Does that make me an aunt?" He asked. Judy and I burst into laughter at the small child's logic.

"No Hun your their uncle" Judy said once she composed herself.

"Ohh" he said as my mom walked into the kitchen.

"Where are the photos of my grandchild?" My mom asked as she entered the kitchen.

"Don't worry mom, we weren't going to open them without you" I said with a chuckle. She smiled and stood beside me, across from my siblings.

As I picked up the brown folder with my name printed on the front, my mom started to rub my back.

"Ready?" I asked my family. They all nodded as I began to rip open the folder. I pulled out a smaller white envelope from the bigger one and opened it. There was a card reading,

Congratulations, it's a girl!

The card was light pink and had a picture of a bear holding pink ballons on the cover. I opened it and it read

Congratulations Ms.Landsdowne on your beautiful baby girl. Finest regards,
Sierra Davis

"It's a girl" I said with a huge smile. My family of 4 smiled greatly.

I pulled the ultrasound papers out of the big folder and I looked at the photos.

"She's so small" I said looking at the pictures. I passed them to my mom as we both began to tear up.

"Jada would be proud of you" my mom said letting a tear slide down her face.

"Let me see my niece!" Judy said excited. My mom passed the ultrasound photos to my twin and she repeated what I had said earlier.

"Is she supposed to be that small?" Judy asked my mom.

"I don't think so Hun. Jen, don't get worried. She looks smaller then when all of you were 5 months in the womb. She's close to Paisleys size when she was 5 months but Paisley was a bit bigger" my mom said comparing us all on the timeline.

"I'm right here you know!" Paisley sassed. We laughed because she thought that she was supposed to use that phrase in this context.

"What's her name?" James spoke up. After he asked, everyone looked at me.

"I don't know yet. I want to name her something that's not popular." I told everyone.

"Well it's your choice honey" my mom said with a smile. I gave her a reassuring smile.

I felt my daughter kicking in my stomach and I gasped and smiled, letting my hand fall to my bigger tummy.

Hello baby girl. Mommy is here. I won't let anyone or anything hurt you ever. I promise xo

"What is it?"  Judy asked because of my  gasp.

"Shes kicking" i said. In an instant Judy shot her arms out to my stomach to feel the baby.

"I feel her" Judy said resting her hand on the side of my stomach. I kept my hand on my stomach as my whole family began to feel my tummy for the baby.

Everybody loves you already baby girl

"I want pickles" I said and my mom and Judy laughed.

"My big craving was toast and butter with you 2" my mom said pointing to Judy and I. 3 I thought. Don't forget about Jada.

"I'm going out for a bit" I said putting the ultrasound photos back in the envelope. I picked up the card from Dr.Davis and I ran them down to my room in the basement.

"Youre having a daughter?!" Nelli nearly yelled in the diner. I quieted her since there were other people trying to enjoy their lunch too.

"I'm so proud of you!" She said grabbing my hands over the table.

I just smiled at my best friend and her enthusiasm. She seemed shocked when I stood up abruptly and put her hands on my coffee coloured stomach.

"I can feel her" she said moving her hands over my huge belly. I laughed because her hands tickled me.

"So you're pretty close to the cradle" I heard a voice behind me. That voice petrified me.
