After staring at her for what seemed like forever. He finally admitted, "you make me feel a lot of things. But mostly, you make me feel apprehensive. What will I do if I ever happened to lose you? How will I live this life when life herself is gone?"
She smiled a sad smile, lamenting a future she assumed but didn't know. Her eyes held many untold secrets.
"You know, be careful what you fear, for it will consume you one day." She said gazing at the abyss. "It will eventually happen if you don't accept it nor face it."
"Besides, everything will end, someday. You and I. The world, the universe, and all that's in between." She said after a moment of silence
"Then I hope we end together." He said, fear lacing his voice. He didn't realize that one's heart doesn't have to stop beating for one's life to end.
