CHAPTER ONE: THE PARTY

Ok so first off, I'm like SUPER PISSED because I wrote this like super amazing first chapter and all-of-a-sudden it was mysteriously deleted so umm ya this chapter is crappy and u can thank wattpad for that.... oh and the entire story changed now... CURSE YOU WATTPAD

Rydel's POV:

I am so excited for tonight! Why? Because tonight is the night of my very first date!!! That's right! Rydel Lynch has her very own BF and tonight he's taking her on an "official date". Yea Jake and I have been dating for about a month but we haven't even kissed...so maybe tonight I'll get my first! Anyways, in preparation for that, my (girl) bestie Maia Mitchell is here to help me get 'all dolled up' for my special date! That and she's headed to some big party with my brothers tonight. Ooh! and did I forget to mention she's also dating my little brother Ross!

"You look AMAZING!!!" Maia squealed.

My hair was in some braided up-do and I wore a strapless floral print dress and dark pumps.

"Aww you really think so?"

"Of course! Jake's gonna be all over you!!" at this we both giggled.

Maia had on a cute cropped sweater, short-shorts, and keds.

After we looked over our outfits one more time, we headed downstairs.

"You ready to go?" said Ross from behind us, he then scooped a giggling Maia up and over his shoulder and carried her out the door.

"Good luck!!" she called still laughing.

Not long after, Ryland and Savannah walked out, then Riker, Rocky, and their dates. Lastly Ellington walked out.

"Wow you look...Beautiful!" he said looking me up and down.

"Aww thanks Ell," I blushed, he's always so sweet.... and cute..... WHAT NO?!!? He's my best friend! And I have a boyfriend! I corrected myself. Ugh hormones...

And with that Kelly walked out, they're not dating anymore, but Ratliff's taking her to the party.

"C'mon Ellington we're gonna be late!" she said dragging him out by one arm.

"Just a sec!" he said pulling away "Go wait in the car."

Kelly shrugged and walked off.

"Why aren't you coming?" Ratliff questioned me.

"Oh, well Jake is taking me on a date tonight.."

"WHAT?!"

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing its just I can't let you go on your first date without letting the guy know the rules!"

Oh Ell, always concerned about me.

"Kelly you go on ahead, I'll meet you guys at the party later!" he called out the door.

"Yea whatever!!." Kelly shrieked.

"No go on, she's your date to the party!" I reasoned.

"C'mon Delly, we all know she's just going to the party to get drunk..."

We both laughed as mean as that was.

"Haha ok then," I said as we sat on the stairs, "But I won't be here much longer, Jake is coming at 7:00 and its 6:56"

However at 7:45 I still sat by stairs, only now I was crying into Ellington's shirt as he pulled me in a tight hug. Ya I got stood up on my first official date.
