When Camila had first saw Dua Lipa, she was mesmerized. She had been hanging out in a random alleyway, getting ready to smoke for a bit. She had been particularly stressed that day, and just wanted to walk around for a bit. She hadn't thought about how cold it would be, throwing on only a thin jacket. She began realizing just how cold it was when the harsh winter winds hit her face. She pulled out a cigarette, looking for shelter as light snow began falling. She had noticed a small alley, and thought it'd be good enough. She had just begun to pull out her lighter when she saw her.

It was like time stopped, everything stopped, and it was just her. Camila immediately wanted to talk to her, but she just couldn't seem to find the courage. So she stood in the alley, watching the other girl. The unlit cigarette still between her lips, and her hands stuffed into the pockets of her jacket. She watched her until the girl turned a corner and was no longer in Camila's view. Camila sighed, as she leaned back against the brick wall. That may have been her only chance to talk to that girl, and she had just let it pass by. She furrowed her eyebrows, she couldn't let this chance pass by. She had to go after her, as cliché as it felt.

Camila ran across the street only hearing the crunch of her shoes hitting the snow, and her heart beating faster than it ever has before. What she didn't hear, was the rather loud hum of a incoming car. Fortunately, when the driver started to honk their horn, Camila's head snapped up, and she skidded to a stop. Even after the car had passed she still stood, a bit startled. After a few minutes, she came back to her senses. She looked at the corner the girl had turned. And after making sure to check if any cars were coming this time, she jogged across the street.

She looked around, not seeing the girl anywhere. Her shoulders sagged, and a frown spread across her face. Camila took longer than usual walking home, her mood a bit crushed. When she got home, her roommates questioned her mood. "What's gotten you so down?" Ally had asked, her concern visible. "I saw this girl." Camila replied. "Do you want a trophy? Seeing a female out on the street is not some kind of rare event Mila." Normani said. Camila pouted, "I wanted to talk to her, but I was too nervous-" Camila started explaining before she was cut off, by her other roommate. "Pussy." Ally commented, laughing a bit. Normani scolded the older girl, lightly slapping the back of her head. Ally mumbled a quick apology, and Normani told Camila to continue.

"She was fucking stunning Mani, I mean she was just so pretty. And when I saw her, it was as though something was pulling me towards her. I didn't have the courage to talk to her at first, so I let her go. But when she was gone, I realized I had to talk to her. And then when I attempted to go after her, a fucking car almost hit me! You know if it wasn't for that stupid fucking-" Camila ranted, and Ally cut her off again, this time scolding her. "Camila! What have I told you about not looking both ways before you cross the street?" Ally yelled. Camila coyly smiled, a "Sorry?" was mumbled. Normani shook her head at the interaction, chuckling a bit. Ally's behavior was constantly switching between mature adult, and twelve year old child.

Normani and Ally had been dating for a year now, and Camila adored the pair. She envied the two's relationship, seeing as she herself had never had something remotely close to the bond the couple shared. Camila stayed up that night thinking about the girl. She wondered what her name was, she wondered where she was walking earlier, and she wondered if she had made it safely. In less than an hour, the mystery girl had managed to make Camila go completely mad over her. The next morning Camila decided she would go back to the alley, and see if the girl would show up. That is until Ally reminded her she had went at 6 P.M. and it was only 10 A.M.
