"Scorpius look."
I awake from the sound of Rose's voice.
"How in Merlins name did you get in here?" I ask her.
"I know people. But anyway look." She says pulling at her ears. Her ears have small diamonds on them in the middle of the lobes.
"I did this thing were someone puts a spiky thing through your ear and then you get diamonds and whatnot put on them." Rose says. I laugh.
"You better get out before you get caught." I say. Rose sticks out her bottom lip, pouting but then she laughs and nods. She turns and leaves.
My mind is left to its thoughts and they are overtaking me. Rose, beautiful, smart, Rose. Rose whom I have loved since our first year at Hogwarts. I realize that she trusts me. I realize that she has been throwing less and less hurtful comments at me lately. Although if I'm being honest with my self, her comments never hurt me. In fact I admired them. I think of all the things I want to tell Rose. I want to tell her that I know how she keeps her muggle camera with her wherever she goes, because it makes her feel like she is part of the world her mother lived in before Hogwarts. I want to tell her that I know her favorite color is purple because it's a mixture of red and blue, which are the colors of Griffendor and Ravenclaw. I want to tell her that I've noticed how when she is nervous she runs her fingers through her hair. And that when she's overwhelmed she puts her head in her hands and closes her eyes. I want to tell her how I've noticed that when she's scared she freezes, and that I know her worst fear is spiders and rats. But most of all I want to tell her that I love her. I reach over on to my night stand and pick up the picture of Rose, Al, and I that I always keep on there.Lilly had taken it with Rose's camera. I like that the photo doesn't move. Albus wakes up.
"I need to talk to you about Rose." I say to him.
