Rose and I walk hand in hand to the owlery tower. Many people stop and watch as we walk by with shocked faces.
"I never thought Malfoy would finally win over Rose." I hear one person say. But we're not listening. We walk up the steps to the tower and Rose pulls out her paper and quill she brought with her. She begins to write her letter and hands it to me when she's done. The note reads...Dear Mum and Daddy,
Scorpius asked me to marry him today! Thank you so much daddy for approving it means so much to me. Mum I know you would want to know this so, yes I did cry. Now I know nether of you are going to be happy with this, but Griffendors are meant to be brave. Please keep in mind that this was not Scorpius's idea, in fact he tried to talk me out of it. When we come home for Christmas break we will not be returning to school.By then there will only be half the school year left of school so we won't be missing much. Thank you for bringing me up I love you both so very much!
Love from you're daughter,
Rose
I nod approvingly and Rose sends the owl off. She smiles at me and hugs me again. I hold her tightly. Rose goes back to Griffendor common room to tell Lilly the news of my proposal. I go to the Slytherin common room and find Albus in a chair.
"So?" He asks. "Did she say no?"
"No. We're leaving school early although I tried to talk her out of it." I say. Albus cheers and walks over to me. He pats back.
"You done good Scorp'. You done very good" He says laughing. "I thought for sure she'd say no." I roll my eyes at him laughing. I thought she would sat no too...but I'm not about to admit that to Albus.. .
