Chapter 18 - Small Adventure

Tek Pov

After Brekfast and a bit more sleep, He helps me get dressed so he can take me some where. I have no idea where he is gonna take me, But Im so exsited! All I know is that its in the next town over. Which is only about an hour drive away. This will be the first time I left this town so I wonder what it will be like. All I hope is that the town over is more accepting then this town.

After about half an hour of preparation we start heading out, me and James in the back cuddling as his dad drives. Im so glad he is fine with us being together, He is what I was worried about the most. I nuzzle into James sholder, my wounds feeling a lot better. Though I still have a bit of trouble doing some stuff on my own but for the most part I think ill be okay.

James pov

I watch as Tek snuggled into my sholder, Looking very cute and adorable like usual. I chuckle a bit and relize he has fallen asleep, which is kind of crazy since he has been asleep for the past 10 or so hours, He must have been comfortable then. I smile and wap my arm around him and rub his right arm, stroking his ocean blue fur. "How long have you been together?" My dad asks, breaking the science. "Oh...Not long really, maybe a week now" He looks in the mirror. "Have you two...'Done It' yet?" My facr turns red. "D-dad! Not again!" I hide my face again. "Well I do have the right to know, I am your father" he focuses on driving again. "N-no dad we havnt..." He laughs a bit. "W-whats so funny!!" He takes a few deep breaths "Thats a good joke son, now tell the truth."
"I am telling the truth!"
"Oh...well..." he stays scilent, Obiously embarrassed. "Well your not allowed to anyways..." he says quickly. Well that was an awkward conversation, Likr yesterdays I guess, Whatever. Im just gonna forget that ever happend. I lean my head on Teks head and watch the telephone poles go by one by one.

We arrive in the town and go find a place to eat. I carry Tek in the restaurant even though he can basically walk by himself. "J-james...I-i can walk fine..."
"No you cant" I smile and put him in his seat, A hear a couples if people talk about us. Nothing mean surprisingly. I rub Teks fur as we wait for our menus to come. "J-james..." He blushes
"Yea babe?"
"C-can you not here...p-please?" He hides his face a bit. "Okay, only cause you asked me" I chuckle and stop, Our menus coming soon after. "There is alot on the menu..." I hear Tek say under his breath. "Well you better pick something good cause im having what your having" I smile as he looks through the menu and picks something, not telling me what it is of course. Even telling me to plug my ears when he orders. Which I do for him. "Can you please tell me what it is??"
"Nope" he giggles and I sigh as we wait for our food, having small talk between the three of us.

Out food finally arrives and It looks like he ordered a chicken breat with corn and mashed potatoes, The first bite was soo good. Tek getting full half way through his mashed potatoes and peas. Atleast he finished thr chicken. I take his mashed potatoes. "How are you still hungry?" I shrug. "I dont know, I just am" I chuckle.

After we eat we head to the car and start driving deeper into the town, Finally comming up on the big suprise...
