Dipper followed his sister as she led the way to their next adventure. "U-Uh... Are you sure about this, Mabel?" Mabel grinned excitedly and nodded her head, running now. Dipper sighed and tried his best to keep up with his energetic sister.

They arrived at a cave. A dark, consuming void with no signs of life inside. Dipper shuddered at the sight of it, while Mabel grinned and ran right up to the mouth of it. She cupped her hands around her mouth and yelled, "Hello?! Anybody there?!" Dipper jumped and ran up to her in case he needed to pull her away from something she didn't see as fast as him. A few seconds passed, and nothing but silence ensued. Dipper bit his lip and tried to convince Mabel to turn back, but she wouldn't budge. "I swear it, Dipper! There was a dragon that speaked English!" (At first I was extremely confused when a red line appeared under 'speaked' because I thought it was right.) "Spoke," Dipper corrected. Mabel blew a raspberry and shouted into the cave again. This time, a low rumble occurred not long after, followed by a serious of heavy footsteps and the sound of something dragging. Dipper froze in place as a huge, golden dragon appeared at the mouth of the cave. Mabel grinned and waved. The dragon stared at her for a moment before making eye-contact with him. He almost had a panic-attack as the huge reptilian asked, "And who are you?" Dipper gulped and managed to spit out a, "H-Hi...," before hiding behind Mabel. The dragon laughed and pointed at him. "I like you, little one." Dipper blushed at the complement, eventually peeking his head out from behind his twin to take another look at the dragon. Mabel grinned and pulled Dipper out from behind her. "This is Dipper, my twin brother!" The dragon seemed to smile, showing its razor-sharp teeth. "I'm Bill, kid. Hmm... I guess it was good to meet you. It won't be great until we have some fun together." Dipper's palms felt clammy. Mabel pushed him towards the dragon. "That's a great idea, Bill! How about you two socialize while I go home and get us a snack!" Dipper mentally screamed at her to stay, to not leave him alone with a dragon of all things. Dipper slowly waved at the beast in front of him. Bill gave him another grin and picked him up by the back of his shirt.

Dipper was taken to the very back of the cave. He shivered at the cold, unable to bear it in just a T-shirt and vest. The dragon set him down and curled up around him. He was surprisingly warm for a scaly creature that lives in a cave. Dipper looked around, finding nothing but darkness clouding his vision. He stared at Bill, who was watching him with glowing, yellow eyes. Dipper cleared his throat and said, "Um... Why did you bring me back here?" Bill watched him some more, then turned his head to look at the entrance of the cave. "So that no one would see us," he replied. Dipper gulped, feeling uneasy. He decided to distract himself with Bill's scales. He glanced back up at Bill— who was still looking towards the entrance— and carefully reached out and stroked the scales. Bill snapped his head in Dipper's direction and watched as the boy carefully ran his hand along the smooth scales. He grinned and nudged the boy with his nose. Dipper jumped and looked up at him. Bill placed his head in front of the brunet, with the end of his face nuzzling his stomach and his chin resting on his lap. Dipper stared, surprised, at Bill. The dragon looked up at him with mirth in his eyes and purred a little. Dipper blushed and rested a hand on Bill's nose, gently petting him. Bill purred and grinned, knowing that Mabel would be back soon and probably take a picture of them.
