"Bill... I can't." Bill stared blankly ahead, eyes unblinking. "Why not, Pine Tree?" Dipper sighed. "I just... I can't, Bill." "Please?" Dipper looked at Bill. His eyes stared into Bill's unseeing ones. "Bill... Ugh, fine." Bill smile kindly and hugged Dipper. "Thank you."

Bill has been extremely docile ever since he lost his eyesight. Dipper knew that Bill was afraid of someone holding a grudge against him killing him. He instantly sympathized with the former demon who's failing eyesight caused him to become so weak and pathetic now. He could still remember what Bill screamed when he realized he was blind. 'P-PLEASE DON'T KILL ME! I CAN'T SEE!' He shivered at the memory. That was the first time he saw Bill cry, but it wasn't the last. Bill cried lately when Dipper wouldn't take him outside to feel the sunlight. Once he finally gave in, Bill promised to give him all of his affection. He wasn't lying. As soon as they got to the sunniest spot in the yard, Bill pulled Dipper to the ground with him and snuggled with him. His eyes were closed, as though he were taking a nap. Dipper sighed. "Bill." Bill didn't respond. Dipper got worried for a moment and looked at the blond on his chest. His eyes were open, staring right at Dipper. "... Bill?" Bill blinked, slowly. "Pine Tree..." Dipper kept silent. Bill waited for him to say something. Realizing Dipper wanted him to speak, he said, "I'm sorry for what I did... Um... I love you." He made an awkward face. Dipper stared at him for a minute, wyes half-lidded. "Mmm... That's unexpected... Erm... Love you too?" Bill stayed silent for a moment. "Thank you, Pine Tree."
Dipper closed his eyes. "Mm... I'm tired." Bill closed his eyes as well, basking in the warmth of the sunlight.
