"Kaia Grove?!?" he repeated.
I nodded slowly and sipped my water. He excused himself and left the room. I eased myself up and walked over to a window to the left of the large bed.
I gazed out the window and stared at the hundreds of miles of woods ahead of me.
The door opened and the same boy came in with two others.
"Kaia, are you the alpha to the most powerful pack alive, daughter of the late Jonathan Grove?" he questioned.
My eyes widened and I felt a cold tear roll down my cheek.
".......late?" I stuttered. He nodded. I wiped my tear away and stood tall. "Then yes, I guess I am........ What's it to you?" I spat.
"We understand you're a rogue.... you're more than welcome here, if you like." he said stepping forward.
"Why are you asking me?! I'm. basically a rogue on your packs territory....." I said sternly.
"He thinks you're fit." One of the boys behind him said earning him an elbow. to the stomach.
"I don't even know your name... I can live for myself, I have done for the last 8 years!" I said, half whispering the. last part.
"Charlie...... and this is Carter and Alex" he said motioning behind him. " and I know you can I just don't think you should...."
"I guess I could stay for a couple of nights....." I said trailing off at the end.
He guided me downstairs to a large living room and sat me on the sofa. He brought me a glass of coke and a sandwich.
"So.... tell me about yourself...." Charlie said awkwardly.
"I'm Kaia, I'm 17 and I'm the most powerful wolf alive."
Sorry if its a bit short but I have loads of ideas for the book, just not sure how to get to them.
