Loving An Alpha Rogue

Chapter Four

"What the bloody hell is going on?!? Seriously, You've known her barely a month." Carter said angrily and stormed over to the bed lifting Charlie off me and dragging him to the doorway. ".. Excuse us..." he said and they left.

Carter was the same build as Charlie and had the same eyes, youp'd think they were twins but Carter was two years older than his brother.

I pressed my ear against the door in an attempt to hear their conversation but all I heard was muffled words and a glass smashing.

I gave up and put some clothes before going outside for a run.

*1 week later*

Hey baby, had to go out for a bit. Back soon. Sorry, Charlie x

I cuddled further into the duvet as I read the note Charlie left me. We'd gotten together after the party and it was great, but things were mega awkward with Carter and he wasn't talking to either of us, just leaving whenever we went into a room.

I got up and headed downstairs... there was no one around. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple before turning to leave.

"Boo!" Charlie yelled, grabbing me and tickling me.

"JESUS, CHARLIE!!!!!! YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME!!!!!!" I said, half angry, half trying-not-to-die-of-fear-and-laughter. I squirmed and wriggled before he finally put me down and hugged me tightly.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as he pulled my waist towards him. He pressed his lips against mine. I pulled away and looked around to see Carter standing in the doorway.

"Ugh" he scoffed and turned to leave. I let go of Charlie and ran out after Carter.

He'd already left so I ran out of the door and shifted.

"chase him" my wolf told me.

I ran as fast as I could. Being the Head Alpha of all wolves I was the fastest, strongest and most powerful.

My coat was pure white with black paws and ears. I saw Carter and caught up easily before tackling him and sitting down.

He crouched into a fighting position and growled, baring his teeth.

How dare he disrespect the Alpha?!!

I growled and barked loudly making him retreat. I shifted and stormed over to where he lie, breathing heavily - clearly trying to control his anger as we both know I'd win any fight.

"SHIFT!" I shouted angrily. Before he'd even fully shifted I started my rant.

"HOW DARE YOU DISRESPECT ME LIKE THAT?!? I AM THE HEAD ALPHA!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR PROBLEM WITH ME IS, BUT YOU'D BETTER SORT IT OUT PRETTY FUCKING SOON!!!!!! GET IT?!?!!"

He nodded and I turned and started to walk away when he grabbed hold of my arm and violently spun my around so I was facing him.

"You know what? My problem is you! Waltzing into our pack like you're God's gift, well you know what? You're just a whore without a pack to love you- "

I cut him off with a slap to the face as Charlie came out the bushes, pushed me to the ground and punched him hard across the jaw, I flinched as I heard it crack.

Charlie was there the whole time?

I got up as they started throwing punches at each other and I tried to stop them when Carter missed Charlie and punched me square in the face knocking me to the floor.

They both continued fighting in both human then wolf form.

I stood up and let out a low warning growl telling them to shift.

As they did I saw their cut and bruised faces looking angrily at each other.

"This is ridiculous. You're brothers! And you're acting like pups!!" I said tearing up. Charlie came over and put his arm around my shoulder and tried to pull me into a hug.

"Get off!" I said, crying. I pushed him off and ran through the forest faster and faster.

I came to a clearing and sat on a fallen tree holding my head. I heard a twig snap and footsteps come closer.

"Fuck off, Charlie" I said wiping away a tear.

"Not Charlie" they said and I looked up to see Carter standing awkwardly in front of me.

I instantly stood and turned to leave before he grabbed my arm softly and held me still.

"Please wait." he whispered and I hesitated before sitting back down next to me. "I am so, so sorry. I don't know what came over me but it was wrong and.... I'm sorry for everything."

He looked at me with such sorrow and regret that I couldn't help but forgive him.

I raised a hand and put it gently on his face running them over his cuts.

His hands moved to my waist and he shuffled closer and pulled me into a kiss.

His tongue flicked against my mouth begging entry. I opened and our tongues fought for dominance of the kiss.

It was slow and passionate yet strong and hungry, like Carter had been wanting it forever.

I pulled away and stood.

"I'm sorry, I can't - You're my boyfriends brother!" I said. "He can't know about this! It was a mistake"

"Was it?" he said and left.

It's amazing how much two words can make you think.
