~ Fallon ~

Colby just stood in the doorway, not saying a single word.

"Hey Colby." I finally greeted, feeling a little awkward under his stare.

"Hey, Fallon. I think we have to talk about what happened." He finally stepped into the doorway, making his way over to me.

A conversation about the kiss was the last thing I wanted to talk about with him. "No, no. We don't have to talk about it. I know it was just an 'in the moment' thing." I smiled sweetly at him, and he breathed out a sigh of relief.

"Thank God." He stood up from the bed and turned to look at me. "It was just a kiss. It meant nothing at all. Anyways, I have to go, I have plans. It's nice to see you again, Fal."

He waved at me as he left my room. I have to admit it did sting a little when he said the kiss meant absolutely nothing, but at the same time I was relieved. I really didn't need or want that in my life at the moment. I had too many things happening all at once for me to be in any kind of relationship.

I got up from the bed and looked around at my bags. The idea of a nap was just a faint memory now, so I decided to unpack my things.

---      ---      ---

I tucked my bags away in the closet, feeling relieved that all of my things were put away. I could now officially call this mansion my home. I still couldn't believe it, from Kansas to Los Angeles, a shoebox apartment to a mansion. It was hard to wrap my head around.

I was startled by the sound of shouting outside of my room. Being nosy as per usual, I step out of my room for the first time all afternoon and head down the stairs. I peered into the living room and saw Sam sitting on the couch with two guys I had seen on his YouTube channel. They each had controllers in their hands and were yelling at both each other and the TV screen.

None of them noticed me as I walked over to the corner of the room and plopped down on the beanbag chair. I watched the game intently. They were playing Rocket League, one of the many games I sucked at.

"Come on, Corey." Sam whined as his team missed a goal.

"How are you going to blame me for that? That was a horrible pass." I made a mental note that the guy with the man bun was Corey.

I laughed at them, and all three of their heads shot in my direction.

"You must be Fallon, I'm guessing." The third guy assumed. "I'm Elton."

"I, uh, yeah." I responded, feeling a little uncomfortable with them all staring at me.

Corey gave Elton a look and stood up. "He means he's Uncle Elton. I'm Aunt Corey."

My eyes widened and I burst out laughing. "What?" My eyes flitted between the both of them.

"It's what we call them. Don't you watch our videos?" Sam questioned and I pursed my lips.

"I mean, I've watched some of your videos, Sam. I've seen your friends in some of them, but I've never really put names to faces." I shrugged apologetically.

"What the crap, Fallon?" Sam said. "Only some? You're my sister, you're supposed to watch them so I can get that ad revenue." He joked.

I rolled my eyes and got up from the beanbag. "Well, I'm starving. I spotted the kitchen across from the foyer and started walking that way.

"Wait, we were all going to get Bdubs in a bit. Why don't you come with us?" Sam suggested, Elton and Corey nodding in agreement.

"Okay, sure. I need to go get changed, though."
