JIMIN
I can't feel my legs. At all.
They're so numb. Even though it was only the first day, they worked us really hard. All of my hall-mates are in my dance classes and a couple are in my vocal ones (I have two). They are amazing! They are very humble about their talent, especially Hobi hyung. His energy is boundless when he dances! He kept saying how good I was at dance, yet he's so much better than me. I'm an amateur compared to him! He was actually too advanced for the generic dance class, so the scheduling office gave him another rap class.
Aish, there's so much to write down!!
Here's my schedule!
1: Fluctuating the voice (one hour)
2: Hip-hop/Contemporary dance (two hours )
3: Lunch (one hour)
4: Ballet (one hour)
5: Singing (one and a half hours) (yes the class is literally called singing. Very creative...)
6: Dancing in Styles (one hour) (the generic class I keep mentioning. It explores different styles of dancing, hence the name)This class became a practice period because the teachers believe I will benefit more by practicing then learning things I already know.
7: Practice period (one hour)
Classes were challenging but fun! The instructors are very strict because they want us to get better. This camp is called 'intense' for a reason! The first activity we did in the advanced class was learning each other's names and ages so we know who's our hyung and dongsaeng. As expected, I'm the youngest. Teacher-nim said a genuine bond with each other is vital, since we are going to be learning choreographies that involve partners. We then warmed up and began by doing some easy routines. The routines got harder and harder until my class was a mess of sweat and limbs.
There is a boy who is in the generic dance class, but he is also too advanced for it. I overheard Teacher-Nim telling him to ask the scheduling office to change his schedule so he will be in a more advanced class. I believe he's a vocal major, but he is a very talented dancer! He's also very attractive kekeke. I couldn't stop staring at him during lunch and dinner. Hobi hyung keeps teasing me about it, singsonging, "Jiminie has a crushhhh. " (Yes, he figured out I was gay. He said it was cool because he's gay too!) I don't think the boy is gay, though. I think his name was Jeonkook, but I'm probably wrong since I'm not very good with names. The teachers don't call roll in our classes, which is a bit strange...
Oh, the boy is in my first period too! The class was less intense since they don't want to kill our throats before camp really starts. Not much to say about that besides his voice is GORGEOUS. I wish he would notice me, but I doubt he will. It's a shame I'm already falling for someone on the first day!
Hobi hyung and I talked about our classmates during free time before dinner(nothing bad about them of course!). He admitted he likes someone too! He said there is someone who is a couple years older than him that is in his rapping class. He says that "he looks like a tired puppy that tries to be tough but really isn't." Hobi hyung doesn't know his name because he wasn't paying much attention in class; ironically, hyung was too busy staring at the boy to hear his name when the teacher scolded him for not paying attention. Hyung probably has a better chance with his crush then I have with mine. Hyung is almost positive that he is gay, while my crush has half of the girls following him.
Taetae said he had a good first day too. He said he met some very nice people that he wants to introduce me to! I'm becoming social here; what is this camp doing to me?! Kekeke it's getting late, Hobi hyung is already sleeping.
Good night! Good luck to us both!
