"Sawyer it's 7:15 get up!" My father yelled from the hallway. "and why is you're door shut? I thought we talked about this." I rolled around some more ignoring what he had just said to me. *Knock, knock, knock* went the sound of my door again. "Uuuggghhhhh!" I said into my pillow I placed over my face. "Fine I'm up!!" I said aggravated, I mean if we were fixing to move then why make me go to school this week anyway I thought as I opened the door aggressively to find my dad just standing there with his arms crossed looking at me. "What?" I said sarcastically. "What did I tell you about keeping the door shut?" He said abruptly, I could tell he was fustrated. "Oh my gosh dad!! I need just a little bit of privacy I am a young woman!" I shouted. Making him turn his head in disgust when I said that. Completely ignoring what I had said, he continued on. "Look I sleep alot better at night knowing your in your bed safe and not sneaking out the side window to meet some boy." I rolled my eyes interrupting him. "I know! I know!" I said brushing by him to get to the bathroom. He can be so overprotective sometimes that I want to scream but I understand I mean I am the only thing he has left of mom but none the less.

I just stood there shaking my head as Sawyer raced by me to get in the bathroom. "This is going to be a fun last week in Tree Hill". I said to myself as I swung her bedroom door completely open before returning to the kitchen for breakfast when the phone rang.
"I'll get it!!" I heard Sawyer say cutting me off in the middle of the hallway as she ran from the bathroom to the kitchen to grab the phone before I could.
"Hello?" She said answering the house phone. "Who is it?" I asked standing curiously beside her. "DAD!" She said rudely, getting aggravated with Sawyer's attitude already today and she had only been up for thirty minutes. I snatched the phone from her. "Who is this?" I asked the stranger on the other side of the phone. "This is Emily a friend of Sawyer's from school who is this?".. she asked making me hand the phone back to Sawyer. "It's all yours! Sorry" I said to her as I went back to the living room to box up some more things.
"What was all that about?" I asked Dad when I hung up the phone. "Nothing, sorry I thought it was an important phone call I was waiting on." He said wrapping pictures in bubble wrap then taping news paper to protect them as he stuck them in the box. "Oh... Okay" I said feeling bad for the attitude I had given him today already. "I'm sorry Dad.... I, I didn't mean to act that way this morning. I guess Im just a little upset about this move still but this can't be easy for you ether." I said looking into my father's saddened eyes as he packed away pictures of mom.
"It's okay!" He said checking the time on clock hanging above the mantel.
"Where's Brooke?" I asked Sawyer seeing there was only fifteen minutes left til school began. She shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know dad." She said "maybe If I had a cell phone...." she added when the sound of a car horn go off in the driveway. "That's her, I gotta go!"
"Okay" I said walking her to the door. "Be careful!" I yelled as Brooke waved back giving me a thumbs up and a smile. "See you at 3".

The school day drug on, it seemed as if an hour took three just to get to the next class but that's typicaly how Mondays felt and I still had goodbyes to tell people but I hadn't musterd up the courage to even tell them I was moving. Later that afternoon as I was walking down the hall to gym with my three best friends, I ran into uncle Skills of course he stopped me to say hi.
"Hey there Scott!" He said throwing his arms around me. "I'm gonna miss saying that around this place" he said making my friends look at me weird. "Y'all go ahead" I told them, "I'll be there in five" giving me a wierd look but agreeing to do so. I waited til they were absent from around me. "Uncle Skills!!!" I yelled pinching his shoulder. "Ouch! what I do?" He asked oblivious "they don't know I'm leaving yet!" I shrieked "oh my bad girl! You're kind of running out of time for all dat" he said making me sigh heavy. "I know, I know I'm gonna do it after gym" I told him looking at the clock that said I was gonna be late for gym if I didn't leave now. "I gotta go" I told him, "alright I'll talk to you later tell ya dad I said hey." I shook my head and ran as fast as I could making it just in time for the tardy bell to go off.

"What was all that about?" My friend Marisol asked me curious. "Just my Uncle Skills asking me something". They looked at one another blankly. "Ohhhhh....." They all said together like a choir group in sync and at the same time. "Why?" I asked "oh... Nothing" she said we've just been hearing things that's all. "Hearing what things?" I asked as my heart beat got more and more rapid I could hear it in my ears. "One of us... Not naming any names over heard the high school teacher Mrs. Scott, tell her class she had some family moving out of town" I took a deep gulp and continued to listen. "Now we know she's you're aunt and all, and we know if it was you and your dad that you wouldn't not tell us something this important right." She said as I just stared at all of them not knowing what to say...  Or why Halie told her class that.
"Well........." I said. Confessing the truth as we sat on the gym bleachers while everyone else played Dodge ball. I could tell they were all visibly upset at me. Not at my father but at me, "why didn't you tell us? You're moving FRIDAY!!!" Emily said sounding more upset than the rest. "I didn't know til Saturday night!!!!!" I yelled getting more and more aggravated that they were taking this out on me. "Really? You mean to tell us that you're father kept this from you until two days ago? And that your just up and moving Friday morning and weren't even going to tell us?"  I sighed loudly. "Look I swear on my mom's dead grave that I didn't know it was sprung on me last minute and believe me that didn't go well.". I said as begged for them to listen to me.
When I saw them look away from me, so I turned around to see what they were looking at it was my father..... I got scared he looked overwhelmingly angry and I knew it was because of me he probably heard what I had just said. "GET IN THE TRUCK!!!" He yelled. "But I'm telling them I'm mov...." When he cut me off. "I SAID, GET IN THE TRUCK! NOW!" He shouted louder. Making me run out of the doors of the Ravens Gymnasium in tears from embarrassment.
