Info-chan walked out from behind the screen wearing a long, floor length sleeveless black dress. "You ready, recruit?" Ayano nodded. "As ready as I'll ever be." Info-chan linked arms with Ayano. "Good, let's get moving. We'll watch Yamada's speech and then stalk him to find a time when he's alone. Think you can handle it?" Ayano felt strange. She had symptoms of the fever. Flushed face, stomach pain... What was happening? She came this far. There was no way she'd give up over being sick. "I'm ready." Info-chan smiled. "Let's go, then."
Ayano was led into a large room with large amounts of people. She put on a smile as people walked by and said hello. A young man walked up to them. "Info-chan! Hey, who's your girlfriend? I didn't know you were a lesbian." Info-chan rolled her eyes. "She's my apprentice, dimwit. I wouldn't be here just for the party, you know." The man grinned. "I had a feeling you guys would be at this event to take care of Yamada. It's such a private event, there are hardly any annoying guards to deal with. And if your girlfriend is here to take care of Yamada, it should be pretty easy." Info-chan scoffed. "For one, she is not my girlfriend. And this is quite difficult for someone of her level. I've been guiding her through." The man grinned. "I've known you for a long time, there is no way you aren't into her. I'll see you later, and leave you with awkward conversation." "Jerk." Muttered Info-chan as he walked away. Ayano tugged her arm. "Hey, the speech is starting. We should go." Info-chan nodded. "I'll leave you alone after the speech. Take this earpiece, and press the button on it to talk to me if you're far away. If I don't answer, it's probably a bad time." Ayano nodded and placed the earpiece in her ear. Info-chan did the same with her earpiece. "I'm actually interested in what he has to say. Go sneak backstage and wait for when he's alone."
Ayano looked around the room and saw a door near the stage that said "staff only." She waited outside the door, and when someone opened it, she snuck inside. Ayano examined her surroundings. She was scanning the room when a man walked up to her. "Hey, cutie, you lost?" Ayano pretended to look innocent and afraid. "N-no, I-" The man laughed "oh, sweetie, you're not in trouble. You just wanted to look behind the scenes, I understand." He sighed. "It is quite difficult being so popular with people. Where's the rest of you?" "The... Rest of us..?" He laughed. "Sorry, sorry, I thought you were the paparazzi. They're always trying to get my opinion on controversy. They want to dig up dirt to try to soil my reputation." It suddenly clicked in Ayano's head. This was Yamada Taro.
