Everyone knows the classic story of Light and Dark. Good and Evil. Life and Death.

They go by many names, but the tales are told the same way.

"There are two wolves. And they're always fighting.

One is goodness and light. The other is darkness and despair.

Which wolf wins? The one you feed."

"Those who fear the darkness have no idea what the light can do."

"Be the light in the dark, the calm in the storm, the peace in the war."

"Hope is being able to see the light amongst the darkness."

"Light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it."

When you think of darkness, what comes to mind? The color black. Ink. Shadows. Things that go bump in the night. Monsters. Killers. Villains. Hatred.

Evil.

What about light? What comes to mind then? The color white. Paper. Candles. Friends and family. Knights in shining armor. Saviors. Heroes. Love. Peace. Hope.

Good.

What if I told you, the dark isn't evil?

Wet soil. A warm evenings weather. Rain. A cooked meal. Friendly animals. A pleasant night. The container of something important. Velvet material. Polished wood. Chocolate. Truffles. Wine. The undisturbed surface of still water. Nature.

Healing. Natural.

What if I told you, the light isn't good?

Lightning. Fire. Blizzards. Freezing temperatures. Fungus. Mold. Ghosts. Bones. Corpses. White fangs piercing flesh. Dead trees. Poison. Steel blades.

Violent. Artificial.

The truth is, there is no such thing as "Good" or "Evil" in light and darkness. Light is not good nor evil. Darkness is not evil nor good.

There is just light.

There is just dark.

Neither can be without the other.

It is up to you. It is up to you for what you see in each. To view the evil in the dark. To see the evil in the light. To observe the good in the dark. To watch the good in the light.

Now I ask you a question.

Which. Wolf. Wins?
