I. A Stranger's Voice

Once was a wanderer seeking for treasures
Seasoned, he was looking for precious ores
One day deep in sleep, a whisper called
In darkness, he heard a stranger's voice.

A desert, empty of many, created such noise
The sand, silent creatures, they thrived along
Obscure, the wind could just be driving strong
So in his hollow rest, he returned once more.

In his tent, the heat was brewing, increasing
The fire was building, it was crossing
Crushed and broken, the rocks were thundering
From troubled slumber, danger was escalating.

Horrifying , it was the face of death
From nightmare, there seemed no escape
Underneath, the ground was making him a pit
Thus falling, no muscular strength was adept.

From a bush that burns, help had spoken
Inside the man, courageous desire was begun
Out of fear of the Stranger's voice was understanding
Trembling, he saw what was forthcoming.

"Here take My Hand, trust my Word,
To the other side, come, let us walk."
Unto the Lamb's eyes the man was besook
A life was spared from the sacrifice consumed.

Engaged dream it was, the man was made wise
Commissioned by the Way, the Truth, and the Life
He found a new kingdom beyond a man's might
The Voice,no longer a stranger, filled echoes greater than sight.
