no mercy

by anna miller

Some have never seen the light of day,

Others have never ran in the spring May.

Chained to the bloody walls,

Starving by all odds.

Cages and crates,

Mange and tapeworm.

Why don't you give them a bath,

Or let them have a blast?

One day,

This will come back to you.

You will beg at Gods feet for forgiveness,

Just like those dogs prayed for a new life.

But did you ever grant them that wish?

Why didn't you?

Because they were dogs?

Because it was good money?

News flash,

You're just a human.

You work day by day slaving away for Obama.

You are worse than any old dog.

There will be no mercy for you.
