“SUMMER!!! I can’t wait to feel the warmth in my skin, the sand beneath my back, the cold drink in my hand and the smell of the beach!” Kit jumped in her bed while imagining her summer vacation. It’s been two weeks since the school dismissal and she can’t wait for her family’s annual trip at the beach...

“Hot summer, a hot hot summer!” she grabbed her hair brush and sing in front of the mirror. She was wearing an oversized Tweety bird t-shirt, a pair of nerd glasses and her hair was in a messy bun. In school, she is the class heartthrob. Perfect straight locks, lip balm-ed lips and crisp looking uniform but underneath it all, she’s not the girliest girl in town...

She even likes playing drums and rock guitar.

“KITTEN, SHUT UP!” Her brother opened the door violently that made Kit slip. Yes, her real name is Kitten but she doesn’t like it so she always introduces herself to others as Kit.

Her brother caught her in the act so he laughed until he’s running out of breath. Kit hit his head and he hit her back...with more force, of course.

 

“OUCH! YOU SHT.” Kit cussed so his brother hit him in her head again.

 

“Learn how to respect your brother!” Her brother said to her and walked back to his room. Kit slammed her door shut and locked it, making sure no one will caught her this time.

 

“I hate you Layton.” She said and threw herself in her bed with musical instruments print. Her room is color blue and she doesn’t wear too much make-up...it’s not that she’s pretending to be the girly girl at school, she’s just rocking on her own and still everybody loves her.

And her brother Layton, who prefers to be called as Lay (their mom are giving them these weird names in believing that there are no other people with the same name) is also their school’s heartthrob. They are called as the “heartthrob siblings.”

But Lay, on the other hand, is the good buy with a hint of a bad boy when he’s feeling really irritated and he plays piano and acoustic guitar. It must be in the genes because their father is a music professor at a university.
