The truth about Caleb

It had been about 16 hours since we found out about Bella being pregnant.

We where now standing at the airport waiting for Bella and Eddie.

Bella had called me and Rose about Eddie wanting her to get rid of the baby. Me and Rose don't want that, so we both agreed to help Bella and make sure that they won't kill the baby.

We had waited for about 20 minutes when they stepped out of the airplane. Bella instantly ran to me and Rose.

I could see everyon's face; they where shocked. I don't know if it's because Bella ran in to Rose's arm or the fact that we are protecting her.

Bella jumped in to Rose's car and I did too. Rose was driving and was sitting in the back with Bella. Now that I was so close to her I could see a small bump on her stomach. She really was pregnant.

While we where driving, my mind went to Paul. I hadn't talked to him in 3 weeks. I had tried to call him,  but he won't pick up.

Neither have I spoken to Caleb. Him I have not tried to call. A part of me is mad at him, because apart of this is his fault.But the other part of me is mad at myself. I had after all agreed to go out with him and I didn't stop him when he kissed my cheek.

I was brought out of my thought's when we arrived to the house. I helped Bella get out of the car and in to the house. Once inside I helped her to the couch.

Rose soon joined us and so did the others.

Eddie was mad, I could tell that without the need to use my powers. I understand why he is mad. I mean, his wife might die, but I have fate in Bella. If she believes she could handle it, so do I.

I sat with Bella while the others where in the other room, arguing.

Eddie, Jasper and Alice thought it would be for the best to kill the baby. They where saying things like " Alice can't see the baby's future, so we don't know if we are realising a monster in to the world " and " Jasper knows how a new born acts, what about a new born baby? ".

I was quite mad at them for wanting to kill a small baby.

Rose, Emmett and Esmé didn't want to kill the baby. They all agreed that it would be best to let it all happened.

Dad was in the middle of it all. He wanted to save Bella, kill baby or not. But he didn't want to go up against Esmé.

So, basically, it's all a big mess.

2 more weeks passed and we all had not come up with an agreement. Eddie still wanted to kill the baby, but me and Rose where in the way.

Still I had not spoken to Paul or Caleb. And right now, I don't want to. I'll tell you why.

Earlier today Jacob came by. He thought Bella was dead/ vampire. When he arrived he got a big shock, he didn't expect Bella to be pregnant after all.

Then some fuzz went on and it ended with him leaving.

He returned a while later, but with news. The other wolf's had now found out that Bella was pregnant and they thought her as a treat. So, they decided to kill her. And Paul included there.

That got me really mad. Does he not care that I would get hurt? Maybe he never cared about me.

And then Caleb. I thought he was human, but no.

When Jacob had got over the fact that Bella was pregnant and returned her told everyone that they had smelled another vampire - and not mom's smell.

At first we all where confused. We then thought that the Volturi was here.

Me, dad and Jasper left to the woods, on our side of the border, and smelled the sent. I recognised it as Caleb's sent, only vampire-er.

At first I was like " WTF?! " but then I realised why he had smelled like a human.

Flashback ( one week ago.)

I was sitting in the kitchen.

I was eating food, because I was in my human mode, as I call it.

Emmett was also there, just watching me and making comments like: " How can you eat that nasty stuff?" .

I thought about Emmett eating and I thought I felt a small spark, like I had used a power, but nothing happened.

I was confused but it was soon answered.

Rosalie came in and she suddenly stopped and just looked at Emmett.

" Emmett? Why are you eating human food? " She asked.

Both me and Emmett looked at her confused. He wasn't eating... was he?

She called for dad and he came in. he also just looked at Emmett and asked why he was eating.

Now me and Emmett was thinking " What the h*ll did they smoke? ".

Soon everyone in the family was in the kitchen. All of them claimed that Emmett was eating.

Dad then asked me what had happened before Rosalie had come in.

I told them about Emmett's coment's and I thought of him eating.

A while later and a lot of discussions we concluded to one thing.

I had gotten the power of illusion.

But once question remained.

Where did I get it?

So now I know. I had gotten the power from Caleb.

He was a vampire and had the power of illusion.

There was just one question.

Why was he here?
