~Jacks pov~

The bell that ment school ended had just rung and I was gathering my supplies to go home. Not that I had many supplies. I headed to my locker and started my way home. I was thinking of tonight. It would be fun, but the only way I could think to get permission to stay out that late was to stay overnight at a friends house. "Hey!" I was cut from my thoughts by Mark. "Agh! You scared the fook out of me!" Truth be told, he did. "Sorry? So.. you excited?" "Uh, yeah. Why?" I stupidly asked. "I don't know. Just small talk." He replied looking down with a side smile. "Well you're great at it." I sarcastically remarked.

"So, I wad thinking.." I started.

"Yeah?" Jack questioned with a wide-eyed, blank stare directed towards me.

"Well, we're gonna be out late, and.. I was already going to invite Felix over, so, do you wanna stay the night at my place?" I asked in broken english. God I'm such an idiot. He's never gonna say-

"Yeah!" I said all too excitedly.

Me and Mark were walking back from school and had just parted ways because I prefer to walk in the forest on my way back. I could just about see him as he turned a corner that I could only assume was going to Fe's house like Mark told me.

I was walking peacefully wondering whether or not I should plug in my headphones and listen to some music like Bring Me The Horizon or Black Veil Brides, when I heard something snap behind me. I whipped around to find a large male wearing a football jacket - one that looked just like Marks - standing in front of me. "So you're the new green-haired nerd walkin' around my school, huh?" I backed up a few feet so there was distance between us if I needed to run. I noticed the name on the football jacket was Connor. He took a step forward and I backed up again, fearful of his next move. Connor grinned as he moved his hand behind his back. I started walking backwards with my hands infront of me in a protective stance. He pulled a shiny object from his back pocket and with an immediate 'flick' I knew what it was instantly.

I darted through the trees, the constant crunch of leaves under my feet as they slammed against the forest floor, with a second pair of feet close behind. I was never the best runner, so I was surprising myself by running so fast, but loosing strength, faith, and speed quickly. After running my ass off, I had the brilliant idea to run out in the direction of the street. I made it to the street, relizing that my house was a few doors down and running over to it. My escape to the street didn't slow Connor, though. He kept running, until he relized that I was headed towards a house. He stopped and looked at me for a moment, then booking it down the street the other way and back into the forest.

Yay another chapter! Not that anyone actually reads these. Facepalming_dragon away!
