"I- I think I love you" Louis muttered just so Harry would hear. Harry's head shot up, eyes wide open. He hadn't been expecting it. The person he loved most, declared their love for him in the boys locker room after football practice. Louis definitely hadn't hoped for that reaction from his best friend and crush. Harry's reaction showed quite the opposite of his intentions. In fact, Harry had liked Louis for quite a while.

Louis and Harry had been friends for years, growing up as next door neighbors. Not a day went past without seeing one or the other for less than a minute. They would stay at each others houses everyday after school and help each other with homework and play video games. Both boys aspired to be major football stars and went to training once a week. Over time, both boys discovered themselves and became aware that the feelings they felt towards each other weren't completely platonic. After a few months of all this frustration, Louis decided he would be out with it, even if it meant losing his best friend. Harry and Louis both knew the other wasn't completely straight and neither had a problem with it. "No one deserves to be labeled because of their sexual orientation." Both boys decided.

Louis took Harry's surprised face negatively and sprinted out of the change rooms and all the way out of the school. Harry tried to call Louis back, but it was all too late. "I love you too Louis." Harry muttered to the ground
