A/N: hey guys! I am so sorry I haven't posted this, but I was waiting for my friend to edit it then she didn't end up editing it and just told me to post it. Then it actually took me a while to post it. And as I sit here writing an apology, I wonder if anyone actually reads this. Anyway, on with the long awaited continuation!

-------------------

From that day onwards, the boys met up regularly, slowing restoring their friendship piece by piece. Everything was changing back to the way it used to be. Gemma noticed it, Anne noticed it, Jay noticed it, even Harry and Louis noticed it! They all went out on "family" dinners just like they used to.

"Hey Harry, I wanna take you out somewhere." Louis had planned a surprise for Harry which had taken him quite a few days.

"Sorry Lou, I'm meeting up with a mate today. Haven't seen him in a while." Harry apologised with a smile and went off to the bathroom.

Louis was upset because he'd put so much hard work into his surprise. He'd just have to wait for another day he supposed. But while Louis thought about his surprise, he also pondered on who Harry's friend could be. Both boys had visited all their old high school friends at parties together. That was until Louis remembered that Harry had made a friend in the new blonde kid after "the incident". Remembering Zayn as well, Louis was pretty confident that Harry had met him.

----------

Harry was meeting up with Niall for lunch that afternoon. Since making up with Louis again, it'd been a couple of weeks since hanging out with Niall. Harry decided to take a train out to London and they'd have lunch at the local pub. Niall met Harry at Putney station and they walked up the High St to The Spotted Horse.

"Hey Harry, been a while eh?" Niall was in his typical cheery mood and was literally bouncing around the street as they walked past the church, Blockbuster, and the Exchange.

"Yeah Niall, I've missed ya mate!" Harry was happy to be hanging out Niall. "So, how have you been Nialler?"

"It's been great! I mean, not great, but I've coped without you." Niall was never in a bad mood so it was highly unlikely that he was having a crappy time. "How about you Harry? Are you rekindled with your love bird?" Niall teased Harry with a wink.

"He's not my love bird, we were never together, just a teenage, high school crush is all it was. Plus he was my best friend and I missed him." Harry was quick to reply and deny.

"Don't be so defensive or I will call him your love bird." Niall chuckled and Harry sighed.

----------

The boys finished their lunch and made their way to Niall's flat. To be quite honest, Harry had missed the company of Niall, it had become a need over the past few years, a requirement to his living.

"Hey Niall, you wanna come over to mine? And by mine, I mean my old house, back in Manchester." Harry asked Niall after thinking for a few seconds.

"Sure! Why not? I mean, Manchester must miss the legendary Niall Horan right?!" Ever the charmer Niall was. He packed an overnight bag and they walked back to the station, catching the next train to Manchester.

----------

Not expecting Louis to still be at his place, Harry bustled into his house with Niall, a bit drunk after having a few drinks on the train. The boys had gotten a bit rowdy and kept crashing into walls. Although their alcohol intake was low, both Harry and Niall didn't have a very good reaction to it.

After hearing a bang ad a crash, Louis figured that Harry must be home.

"Harry! You home?!" Louis called out and ran to the front door to see Harry in a pile on the floor with some unknown blonde boy.

"Louehhhh!!! Hiiiii!!!" Louis simply rolled his eyes and dragged both boys to the couch and sat them down.

"Why're ya still here Lou? Thought you woulda gone home." Harry asked, eyes half closed.

"Waiting for you to come home babe, who's this you brought along?" It wasn't hard to see that Louis was a bit jealous. The more he thought about it, the more he realized that this was the new friend Harry had made and started hanging out with after their friendship fell out.

"It's Nialler, nice to meet ya mate," Niall answered for Harry and held out his hand for Louis to shake. Taking his hand, Louis felt a little more easy about Niall, he was a friendly lad.

"I'll leave you guys in the couch for the night if that's alright? It'll be a little hard for me to get you both upstairs. I'll come back in the morning aye?" Louis was really only talking to Niall, as Harry had knocked out practically straight away.

----------

Jumping over the fence and running into Harry's house, Louis found Harry and Niall awake and in the kitchen. It looked like they were about to make breakfast not entirely sure of what it was.

"Not too hung over boys?" Louis asked them as they made breakfast.

"Nah we're cool Louis, you want some blueberry pancakes?" Harry replied.

"Yeah thanks guys,"

"Sorry you had to meet me drunk Louis, it wasn't my best side," Niall thought he had to explain himself, but Louis thought it was genuinely okay and natural for men of their age.

The boys conversed over pancakes and tea and Louis and Niall got along very well, blooming into a new friendship. Deciding to go out together for the day, they all got showered and ready. Shopping all day and staying up all night, the three boys were all perfect for each other, balancing out in fun, friendliness and sensibility.
