It had been 3 years since Louis declared his love for Harry. The last Louis heard of Harry, was when he'd moved to London with his sister, Gemma. The boxes were stacked into a van, with Harry and Gemma sitting in the front seats. Louis watched from his window, seeing the van trail away into the distance, and his best friend going away in it too.

Louis remembers the day he told Harry about his feelings like it was yesterday. After the ran out of the locker rooms and onto the football field, he scrambled into his car and drove. He drove to wherever his car would take him. The vehicle finally ran out of petrol on an empty road in the middle of nowhere. Surprisingly, his phone had signal, considering he was in the middle of whoop whoop. He called up his mum, asking to be picked up. "What the hell are you doing in the middle of nowhere?" was all Jay could yell down the phone. Louis couldn't explain himself, and all he had to do was wait by the side of the road.

From that day on, Louis kept avoiding Harry. All Harry wanted to do was talk to his best friend, but whenever the opportunity came, Louis would run off with his new friend, Zayn. Zayn had moved to Doncaster from Bradford the day after the "incident". Louis seeking refuge in a new friend, went to Zayn to welcome him to Doncaster and Hall Cross. Harry saw Zayn and Louis walk through Louis' front door from his bedroom. Harry couldn't deal the jealousy rising in his body. "He won't even let me talk to him, now he's gone off with some random dude." Harry thought.

Anne and Jay thought the two boys would be inseparable for life. How wrong they were when the interaction between Harry and Louis came to a halt. Jay did notice that Louis has formed a new friendship with Zayn. And Anne realized that Harry had been hanging out with his older cousin, Liam more often.

Harry and Liam had already been close as it was, but this was intense. Liam loved his younger cousin, but Harry became really clingy. "I know you and Louis are having a rough time, Harry, but I have a life too. Do you know how many times I've had to blow off Danielle just to deal with your problems?" Liam was becoming annoyed, "Sorry Liam. I'll leave you two some time for a bit." Harry replied. Liam nodded and walked home.

Harry decided to get a job at the local bakery to occupy himself a bit. It was his first day and the bell rang. A small blonde boy walked up to the counter, "One loaf of bread please." That's when Harry first heard his strong Irish accent. Harry saw opportunity in a new friend. As Harry handed him the fresh bread, he introduced himself, "Harry. Are you going to Hall Cross?" "Nice to meet you Harry, the name's Niall. Sadly, no, I'm not going to Hall Cross, just the public school." After the short intro, they swapped numbers and Harry promised to show Niall around Doncaster.

Months passed and Louis and Harry constantly saw each other around town with their newly found friends. Harry was leaving now, to train for Chelsea FC. The coach of the well-known football team was recruiting new players around the colleges in England, and Harry definitely caught his eye. "We need a young player like you, Harry." It took a lot of persuasion, but Harry finally gave in.

As the van got further and further away from his childhood home, Harry turned his head back to see Niall waving him off. Behind Niall, he could see the massive house Louis lived in, and in the small attic window, a figure, Louis Tomlinson.
