"Elsa..." I groaned. "Elsaaaa..." Noooo. Go away. "ELSA!" I bolted upright in bed, now fully awake. Anna stood by the side, a proud smile on her face. "You're gonna be late." She said an a sing-song voice. I glanced at the clock.
7:58
"OH MY DEAR BABY JESUS." I threw the covers to the side and got out of bed. Anna giggled and left the room, leaving me in a frenzy, throwing clothes everywhere and what not.
I threw on a pair of shorts, a tank top, and one of Jacks hoodies then slipped my white convers on. I quickly bruhsed my hair then grabbed my bag, putting it over my shoulder and bolting down the stairs. Anna was nowhere to be seen, probably already left. I threw open the door and ran into a hard chest and a familiar woodsey sceny filled my nose.
Jack let put a startled gasp then a low chuckle. "Happy to see me, Snowflake?" I looked up at him. "We're going to be late!" I practilly yelled, throwing my hands in the air. He smiled then looked me up and down. "You look hot." I let our a groan and slapped his arm. "Jack!" He put his hands up and laughed. "Ok, ok. Lets go." He grabbed my hand and we got into his car. We made it to school in record time, and when we got out of the car, the warning bell rang.
"Shoot!" I looked at Jack and he grinned. "Ill give you a ride." He bent slightly. Oh God. A flush crept up my neck as I hoped onto his back. He started running and soon we were inside and he was standing in front of my first class.
I slipped off his back and he quickly kissed me then ran off to his own class. I turned and the whole class was looking at me. Embarrassing. With my face probably beet red, and went inside and took my seat next to Merida. She looked at me abd wiggled her eyebrows. I slumped in my seat slightly as she laughed. Ugh.
I honestly dont mind the PDA with Jack. Im an open person. But when the whole class is watching, its kind of embarrassing.
I sat through the next three classes with a smile plastered on my face. I honestly didnt know why. But by lunch time, Merida noticed and she elbowed me at our table. "Aye, what are you so happy about?" I shrugged.
I heard a tray hit the table next to me and someone sit down. "Well, for one, she's dating the hottest guy around." I giggled when Jack winked at me. "You know, your ego is bigger than your d-" "Hey guys!" Hiccup saved us when he sat down next Merida. There was a chorus of "Heys" and "Hi's". Punzie looked around at us. "So guys..." They got into a conversation about who has the better eyebrows and which guy had bigger muscles. I tuned out, because a bad feeling was forming in the pit of my stomach. My eyebrows knit together as I looked around the lunch room. Everything seemed fine. I was about to ignore the feeling until I saw something that made my stomach drop.
A man was standing outside the window. He wore all black, and he had a black hat placed on his head so I couldn't see his face. He stood about 30 feet away, hidden among the cars in the parking lot. He wasnt doing anything, but he just stood there. As is waiting for something. Then he looked up, and my eyes widen, all tge sounds a distant backround in my head.
The man had stone cold blue eyes, so bright I wouldn't be surprised they were contacts. He had red hair, and sideburns burned brightly on his pale face. There was a scar on his cheek that was hauntingly familiar, and then he grinned. And it was so familiar that chills went down my spine and I shivered. He lifted his hand, held up two fingers, then left.
I was still in such a shock I didnt hear the others calling me. "Elsa?" I snapped out of it and looked up to find my best friends staring at me, consern marking their faces. "Are you ok?" I put on a fake smile and nodded. "Really? Cause it looks like you just saw a ghost." I said nothing and looked out the window again. Maybe I did see a ghost. But it felt so real, so... frightening real, that I shivered again.
Jack put his arm over my shoulder and I leened into him. "You okay?" He whispered into my ear. I looked up at him. "Yeah, Im fine." He didnt look convinced but let it go as we continued to go on with our lunch. But I couldnt get that smile out of my head. Ive seen it before. Ive seen it on a face Ive known since little. A face Ive grown up with. A face who betrayed me. A face who tried to kill me.
