I yawned as stretched my arms into the air. I went to move, but I couldn't, there were to many books on my bed around me. Sighing I moved carefully out of the bed and sighed softly one I was out. I looked at the mess I made of my newly bout books and started to clean it.
Halfway through, my door went wide open, and in came my sister who was crying. She ran over to me and hugged me tightly, she was about 4 months now I think, she was round to.
"Jaaddee!! Waaahaha!!" She cried into my shoulder.
"Irrene, what's wrong?" I asked her as I held her as well.
She sniffles before answering. "I wanted some omelets for breakfast, but there's no eggs!" She cried.
I felt defeated in that moment, cause if something had happened that was serious, I was going to go kung fu on someone or something.
"Seriously Irrene, this is why your crying?" I asked exasperated.
"Don't judge me, I'm pregnant!! And fat!" She then started crying once more.
"No, no, you aren't fat, your just carrying the twins remember?" I said patting her back softly. "I'll get Eddy to go to the store and buy some eggs and things, so that way I'll be making the omelets for you!" I said trying to cheer her up.
Again, she sniffles and looks at me with her blue eyes. "Really?" She asks, voice cracking and so did my heart.
I sighed and smiled at her. "Really."

"I want him to be home already! I mean, why'd he have to go on tour, huh? Why? And it'll be for 4 years! All I get are letters and sometimes videos from him. I miss him, I miss my Alex." She whined as she sat at the table, head on said table.
"He wanted to serve our country, you know him and his acts of random kindness. Its what saved me and you." I told her as I filled a glass up with orange juice and walked over and gave it to her.
"I know, but I still wish he was here to watch this. He's always wanted this, a family. Since you know, his parents and family are all gone." She said sadly as she sat up and took the drink.
"I know, but I bet he's anxious to get back here on time as well. Don't worry about it." I said going back to the kitchen to get me my own glass, and our plates of food that Eddy served as I gave Irrene her cup. "Thanks Eddy."
"No problem Jade, it's my job after all." He said and went off to be with the gardner.
"Don't you miss Ted?" She asked as she ate, poking at her food.
"Of course I do, he's just on a week trip to Washington, he'll be back tomorrow." I told her.
She pouts. "No fair."
"He's not on service." I told her sweatdropping.
"Thanks for the food it was amazing, again. You think you could teach me? Alex can cook, but I only know how to make mac'ncheese." She said as she rinsed off her plate.
"Haha, don't remind me, you somehow melted the pot to the oven. We had to replace it." I told her, nostalgia coming to mind.
"Don't remind me." She groaned.
I giggled and rinsed my player off as well as we got ready to start cooking again.

"You know, your not womanly at all. All you know are rockets and fuel stuff." I said as I watched her burn, yet another egg.
"It's to hard though!" She said frustrated.
"It's not that hard. Come on, your cooking them on high, when it should be somewhere in the middle of high and medium. Secondly your leaving it there for minutes on end and thirdly, never leave the plastic spatula in the pan, It'll melt!" I said annoyed by this point.
"It's not my fault you aren't helping!!" She yelled at me.
"I am too, you just aren't listening to it!!" I screamed back.
"Okay, what is going on?" Ivan asked as he walked in, Steven behind him.
Irrene turned to them and glared. "Jade's horrible cooking class."
"Hey! Your the one who can't cook!" I yelled frustrated.
"And your the one who shouldn't be here!!" She yelled.
I stopped, paused, or frozen which ever you prefer. What did she mean by that? Tears pricked my eyes as I looked at her, not caring that the pan was on fire, cause Steven was taking care of it.
"What, what do you mean?" I asked.
"You know exactly what I mean. It only happened, what 5 years ago?" She said glaring at the ceiling then looking at me and widening her eyes.
My lips trembled as I tried to keep the tidal wave of sadness from coming.
"Irrene... That was too far." Ivan said looking disappointed in his sister.
"Jade...im-" I didn't want to hear it, I ran and went to my room locking the door behind me, to keep anyone and, and everything out.
I cried into my man pillows, blankets and books that still layed on my bed. Was it really my fault? Should it have been me that left? Is this how Irrene felt the whole time?
With those thoughts in mind I fell asleep.

For the past couple days I've been staying in my room, not going out to eat, cause I had my secret stash of food in my room.
As I was chomping down on some cheese itz, and sipping some Pepsi, a knock at the door caught my attention.
"Jade?" I heard the muffled voice of my sister.
I hmphed and went back to snacking.
"Jade, please come out...." Irrene pleaded. But I wasn't caring for it. "Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it, I swear...."
"Says the one who said it, you wouldn't have said that if you didn't mean it." I said, finally answering the plees.
"But I didn't! I'm just really emotional." She said, and I knew she was most likely crying outside my door.
"And honest...." I said feeling my chest tighten and tear appear in my usually bright green eyes.
"I'm sorry Jade. I really am, I shouldn't have said that, and I shouldn't blame you for anything, I know this, I know this, cause I'm your big sister. I've been trying to protect you for the last couple years since mom died. Trying to give you that touch of mom. And you got it, and I...I got nothing, no cooking skills, nothing from her. I'm sorry...." She said again.
I put my snacks down and walked to my door unlocking it and opening the door to see my sister haggard and blotchy faced from crying.
"You did get something from mom, you got her smartness and you got her motherly side. Your more like her then you think." I said and was tackled to the ground with a hug from her.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry. I love you!" She said as she cried into me.
"Man, your emotional.... I love you too." I said and hugged her back, crying into her, as she did too.
Still under the weather, I was good, then my sister, who got sick with something else got me sick, and with my immune system, it just doubled it into more then a cold......but here's a short chapter, and I hoped you all liked and enjoyed. Have a good day!!!
