Chapter 2

"alright class, since y'all are in a art school, please come out with a performance in 2 weeks time. The best 2 from the class will be chosen to perform at the school's annual concert" Mrs park announced to the class.

"Jungkook, can I speak to you I private please?" She said and I followed her out of class

"I know you're already a trainee and you don't want the school to know, but our principal wanted to asked if you could perform with your group as guest performers?"

I was internally excited that we had already gain recognition before we debut but I really don't want too much attention. So I replied, "I'll give it a thought with my hyungs Mrs park. Thank you for the invite" and return to class

"Jeon! Can you dance? I'm a really good dancer myself and I was considering partnering with you for the performance" yugyeom asked and I agreed, smirking sheepishly, fully confident about my dance ability.

Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted Eunbi with her small group of friend she always hang out with actively discussing, probably about the performance too. It's been a few days since our encounter but we have yet to talk after that, only subtle smiles whenever we past each other.

Yugyeom brought us to the school dance studio which was packed probably because of the school performance. But when yugyeom stepped in, they crowd seems to clear way for him. Maybe he's really very good. I looked around, failing to spot Eunbi, I was hoping she would be around to witness my dance. Yugyeom stepped into the centre and called for a English song. Once the beat drop, he's body became one with the music, he was mesmerising I thought as my jaws dropped while watching him move. He ended his routine with a floor grinding move which all the girls in the room probably got wet looking at him.

"How was that?" He asked knowing fully well that I was impressed

"You were great" I admitted, "but I think I can do better" I smirked as I hit the center stage. I requested for the song I used for my audition and let my body flow to the beat. Yugyeom can't wipe his smile off his face after I finished and the crowd was going frantic after the two of us danced.

"I'm truly impressed, where did you learn to dance like that" he said as we walked to the canteen for lunch.

"I've been dancing since I was a kid, and plus, I'm actually a trainee already" I winked while shushing him up so that he won't spread the news

"But I'm more curious about the group we saw on the rooftop that day, why weren't they with all the other dancers in the studio?" I asked.

"Oh, you mean Eunbi and gang? They really don't like to mix with other people, so they always dance at less crowded places like the rooftop. They are really good though" he replied and I nodded my head

The next few days, I invited yugyeom to my training studio as we work on the choreography for the performance with the help of jimin and Hobi hyung.

"Ah hyungs! I forgot, the school wanted us to perform at their annual concert, do y'all wanna go?" I pop the question as it suddenly came to my mind

"Didn't you want to keep it a secret that you are a trainee? Why would you wanna perform?" Jimin asked

" I was just asking for your opinions, it could be a way to gain some fans before we debut" I suggested and they said that they would consider it.
